This alignment tool is intended to provide an easy and quick way to center mark Dorman 555-104 Freeze plugs or if used in a vice with a drill press, easily align a 3/16" drill bit to drill center holes. We recommend using the transfer punch method, it's very easy and highly effective! This tool can be used for other freeze plug types, shimming may however be required. Update! Thank you customers for your feedback - there has been a size update from Dorman (we believe their outsourced plugs) have resulted in the ID of the new style plugs being smaller. We have updated this tool to a "Dual step" to accommodate both the new, and the old. The new size is comparable to 555-104b plugs.

Disappointing Maglite D Cell Center Punch/Drill Tool
Seller shipped quickly, but not as described. They talked of 555-104b being larger internal diameter and using a 2 step process to work on 555-104 & 555-104b. However it arrived without the two step and therefore didn't fit the 555-104 (smaller ID). I'm disappointed.
