I LOVE IT!!
I had only been dating my boyfriend for a couple of weeks before it was my birthday. As a gift, he gave me the bath lotion, hand lotion, and the candle. At first I was hestiant to like them because I am not a fan of lotions that are smelly. They smell good in the bottle but once I put it on my skin it smell awful. I knew he purchased it at a boutique so I knew it was going to be good quality. I put the lotion on in front of him (I didn’t want to seem to be ungrateful) and wow! The smell is so settle I could not stop smelling my arms. I loved the smell. I get compliments everywhere I go. This lotion is not like the others. It is timeless. Anyone no matter the age could use it. And after 2 ½ years we are still together and he keeps replenishing the lotion for me!

Lightweight lotion but heady fragrance...
This DiPalomo White Grape & Aloe body lotion arrives nicely boxed and with a cute (paper) ivy leaf around the bottle’s neck, so it does look like something special. The lotion does pretty much live up to the packaging and it’s quite a luxurious cream with a heady floral aroma. The scent is a bit overpowering at first but I did find it faded a lot and quite quickly leaving something more subtle for the rest of the day. I see it’s described as a unisex lotion but I imagine the sweet fragrance might put some men off, at least at first until it fades. The lotion doesn’t travel that far on the skin, compared to some, so I find I use more of this than other lotions. However it does sink in well and leaves no significant residue, just nicely moisturised skin. I have dry skin that needs regular moisturising and tends to get a bit red and itchy if it isn’t. This lotion was enough to keep that under control, but I felt it was only just enough and it’s not the most indulgent or deeply moisturising cream I’ve tried. It might be better as a lightweight for the warmer months. Either way it’s very nicely presented and smells expensive and would make a lovely stocking filler or birthday treat.

Smell is too overpowering for me and smells more like mens aftershave
Ok, I like the packaging, its simple yet nice and the little ivy leaf makes it look a little special. But I pumped some out and was immediately overwhelmed by the smell. It smells like a mens aftershave, the problem is the packaging is too girly to appeal to men. The bit I pumped out I put on my lower arms and seemed to apply alright but I couldn't put any more on because of the overpowering scent. Shame because one would have thought that white grape and aloe would have been a nice delicate fragrance. I think they should follow the rule less is more. Not for me.
