2012 SENTRA
I just purchased this for my 2012 Sentra 2.0S model. I bought the car from an american dealer who had no idea what kind of cord I was talking about. When I went to the Nissan dealer to buy some mats they told me that they no longer sold the cord but I was told that I could find one online. The cord just came today it was easy to install and works with my iphone 4S and my ipod mini 3rd generation. Also, if you have the adaptor for the iphone 5 it will work as well, my friend tried hers it just doesn't do the same type of display with the song names as it does for the older ipod. The cord came with a small cap cover that is attached to the cord itself. The only complaint I have is that the cord is an unusual length. It will reach outside of the center console and let my phone reach the small compartment infront of the console but it's not long enough to comfortably adjust the song while you are in the driver seat. Perhaps the idea, they want you to use the radio to do everything but I am also fairly short so I sit closer to the steering wheel so it might just be a short person issue.

COMPLETELY DESTROYED MY 2 IPODS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
After purchasing this cable about a week ago, 2 iPod classic's, 5th and 6th gen were destroyed in a matter of minutes!!!!!!!!!!!! I plugged my 80 gb in and the screen faded out and then went black and completely died. In a senseless move of denial, I tried my other 120 gb classic to see if the previous incident had been some untimely coincidence and the battery just died after years of use and maybe the cable sped up the process. After about 20 minutues of trying to fix the first iPod, i said the heck with it and decided to try one more time. The screen of the second iPod immediately went white upon plugging in and then died just like the first. Both of the iPods are now completely dead and useless. Took them both to best buy and then the apple store. The best buy guy thought maybe some pin had been off in the cable or something and told me to try the Apple store. The apple employee that tried to get some response out of the iPods said he thought the motherboards were completely fried. Thanks a lot!

Great price, works perfect!
I just purchased a 2010 Nissan Sentra and the dealer said I had to purchase the cable separately. The dealerships price was nearly $75. After reading the reviews on here, I was hesitate to buy this one, but ordered anyway. For the price I thought I'd give it a try. I'm glad that I did! It works perfectly. It charges my phone and plays music with quality sound. I love that it reads the song information on my car stereo's display and I can change the songs through the buttons on my steering wheel. This was a bargain and I totally recommend it.

GREAT CABLE, GREAT PRICE, GREAT DELIVERY
Great option in a vehicle, and great to have a cable that is lower priced and just as good as the O.E.M. cable. This was for my daughter's new car (2011 Nissan Sentra). And she really likes it a lot. We live in "reception un-friendly" area that has virtually zero radio to choose from, so having all of her own music on her IPOD accessible and operable from the steering wheel is exceptional. Charges with no problems. The length is short - but any longer and the IPOD would end up down beside the passenger seat anyways so I have no issues with the length. Besides the length is detailed in the write-up.

09 g37x coupe
first off let me fully explain for infiniti users.this cable does work in the sense of playing music, clear music, and all of the steering controls work and has no problems working at all.but! it will not charge my ipod classic 6th gen or 5.5 gen or iphone 4 or 4s.i also bought the Scosche passPORT Charging Adapter for iPod and iPhone off of amazon. and this also did not work neither did the cable jive adapter.i am extremely frustrated because i have to take my ipod out and charge it every few days. please, please let me know if you know how to get this to charge!

Works Great - wish it would charge, though...
This cord works very well for playing music - no problems. HOWEVER, only older ipods work in it. We have tried the old style 80gb bigger ipod and an iPod touch (from 2009 I think) and they both work. What I don't like about this is that it doesn't charge your device while playing. That really stinks. Especially considering that you have to use the same plug to charge so you can't charge and play at the same time even if you did have (2) different cords. The other thing I don't like is that I can't use any converters on it to make it compatible with my iPhone or any other MP3 device. I have tried a bluetooth converter and an auxiliary port converter on this with no luck. I've also tried a charger converter to make it charge to see if that helps - it doesn't. So, for using my iPhone (for Pandora, etc.) I got "Hosa Cable CMR210 Stereo 1/8 Inch to Dual RCA Adapter Cable - 10 Foot" and plugged it into the aux ports in the back and that works AWESOME for streaming my phone through the aux. :)

Great Product, 2011 Nissan Rogue
Purchased this for my 2011 Nissan Rogue which isn't listed on the compatible car models, but it still works great.I had an old 60GB iPod video collecting dust at home and now with this cable I am able to use my old iPod like a massive juke box on my drive to and from work and on long drives. It charges the battery and allows me to control my iPod from the center console. This cable does what it was intended to do, nothing more, nothing less.

2 New Ipod Touches (4th gen) FRIED When Plugged In
I bought this interface and then a 4th gen Ipod Touch for my '09 Infinity G37 S Coupe. When I plugged the Ipod in, it wouldn't come on and got very hot!. Thought maybe it was a defective Ipod since I hadn't turned it on before plugging it in. Returned it to the store and got another one. Turned it on before plugging it in. It turned on and seemed to be working but after plugging it in, it never came on AGAIN! Beware trying to interface with these Ipods because it can FRY it! Not sure how Infiniti and Apple could design something that could fry the Ipod. Not sure if this cable has anything to do w/ it. There are a few other posts out there describing the same problem! I'm done trying to make it work unless someone can tell me exactly which Ipod version will work w/ this cable and car and I haven't seen anything on the internet that indicates that. I would add the manual says it's veh interface is compatible w/ a 4th gen Ipod which is what I bought TWICE! Now Apple is going to be receiving 2 fried Ipods! :(

Useless don't buy.
If I could give a zero I would. This is useless don't buy it.Its not compatible with Infiniti fx35/45 2003-2005 or Nissan Armada as well.Just lost 25 bucks as I bought the adapter to iPhone 6.Not to mention losing my whole day removing dashes.
