Good value, works as described but lacks separate weekday/weekend settings
I struggled between giving this three or four stars. I replaced an old light alarm with this and realized one big design drawback after using it for a day: it does not have a separate weekday and weekend alarm time. This is a big negative compared to the unit it was replacing. I want the gradual light to help me wake up Monday through Friday at 6am, but not on the weekend! So far I just turn it off on the weekend, but it would be a five star product if it had a separate alarm setting for weekends.Other than that, it works as advertised and takes up minimal bedside table real estate (see photo for relative size compared to cordless phone), and the price is right.I don't think it's quite bright enough to use as a book reading lamp, so I'm not able to replace my bedside lamp entirely either, which is a little disappointing but okay since it still fits. So, thumbs up, but not perfect.

Accurate and illuminating
I’m really glad I purchased this. I’m not a morning person but have to wake up around 5-5:30AM when it is still dark out so this alarm light has really helped my problems with pressing snooze 10 times and sleeping in the dark for another half hour. It’s pretty easy to use - you can easily set the time, alarm, and sound without any issues. You cannot adjust the brightness or color of the light when it turns on in its alarm setting - it will automatically turn on as a warm white light 30 minutes prior to the actual alarm time, starting off as a dim light to eventually being on the highest brightness setting 30 minutes later. The sound will start at the actual time of the alarm at the set loudness (it’s not gradual like the light option but there are different levels of loudness to choose from). There is an option for no sound as well, so only the light will operate in conjunction with an alarm time. One qualm I have is that there you can only set one alarm at a time and it is turned on everyday until you manually turn it off - in other words, I have to remember to turn off my 5:30AM weekday alarm for the weekends, and back on Sunday night. As for the actual alarm sounds, they’re supposed to be these natural/tranquil sounds, but they’re not the most high quality of sound bits and don’t really sound like water or nature. I guess it’s better than a blaring siren though.Tapping the snooze button on the top of the light will stop the sound and turn off the light for another 10 minutes or so. To turn off the alarm, you have to press and hold the same button. It will turn off for the day and repeat for the next morning unless you manually turn off the alarm with the buttons on the underside (the same buttons that set the time and such). The lamp effect works well, although I wouldn’t rely on it for reading because it’s not as bright as the product photos portray. There are 3 brightness settings, and it will always be a warm white light. If you want colors, you press and hold the top/snooze button, and then the lamp will slowly progress through a blend of all the colors. You can leave it to the color-changing setting, or tap the button once when the lamp is illuminated at your preferred color, and it will stop there so you have a continuous light of just that specific color. There are no brightness settings for colors, just one setting that is ambient and not super bright. It requires a cord (which is included) to operate.Overall, I’m pretty happy with this alarm/lamp, moreso for the alarm light aspect than the lamp. For $30, it’s pretty simple. I would say it’s better valued at $20 but I still make great use of it every morning.

Trouble waking up-get this
I am now a morning person after using this-not really but it has made waking up easier and, sometimes, it's 30 minute gradual increase will have me up before any alarms which is unheard of with this sleeper. The light really does help to wake up. I just can't even imagine waking up to darkness again, after getting used to this.It is actually my nightstand lamp too. Love the touch on/off button; no more tactile feedback buttons that used to slide my lamp while trying to push it.It has dimmer functions to dim the digital clock or to dim it to darkness, it even remembers the time after a power outage too. It has a few different alarm sounds and, since I hate the typical alarm clock sound, I use the bird sounds. It is quick to repeat the bird chirps on playback though, so don't expect it to sound realistic or natural.Get this if you want a great lamp, clock or alarm.

Simple and Bright
I'm happy with this purchase! The light has three brightness settings, and the top two are definitely bright enough as a bedside lamp in my opinion. The clock display also has two brightness settings or can be switched off completely. The "sunrise" simulation isn't as gradual as I'd hoped, but it serves the purpose. You can also turn off the alarm sound and just use the light, which I love. The buttons to change any settings are on the bottom, but easy to use (and don't need to be used all the time). The alarm is turned off by the touch sensor on top. Overall, I'm glad I chose this alarm lamp.

Perfect for DHH (deaf, hard of hearing) folks. Nice look for⏰alarm clock w/cool lighting features.
I’m nearly deaf and needed something that could light up to wake me since I’m sensitive to light and it wakes me more. I cannot hear ay alarm clock no matter how loud or close to my ears.Love that the numbers are easy to read in dark room and the touch on/off at top for light for manual use.Alarm lights up nicely and helps me tremendously. There is a sound with it as well. I enjoy using the light at night as my reading light before going to bed. I tucked it in my suit case on my last overnight travel and it was perfect! It looks nice on my nightstand too. Highly recommend for deaf people and others.
