Great OEM replacement
This works great. Had to have my buddy help me because it required some soldering and that's not my bag. I have an old (30+ years) Porter Cable jig saw that it just too good to give up, but the cord was frightening. In about 15 minutes, we opened it up, cut into the somewhat delicate wiring, soldered the connections, applied some heat shrink tubing, and closed her up. Works like a charm. Nice fix.Old and for all the carrying on about cord protector, I could have easily used the old one, but I bought a new one anyway. But really, everybody needs to relax about this cord not coming with one. Geez.

Good Replacement
A good replacement for the aging cord on my Porter Cable circular saw, along with the Porter Cable Replacement Cord Protector, also found at Amazon. Maybe I'll get another 20 years out of this saw ...

Fits like OEM
Ordered this replacement cable for the original which is about 20 years old. The replacement is an EXACT fit and took only minutes to install. What you'll find is a 10 foot cord vs. the typical 6 foot cord, which is rather nice.

I am pretty awesome so I decided to saw through my OEM power cord on my Porter-Cable saw. This cord was a perfect replacement and the hardest part of making the switch was...taking a few screws out? Basically, it's easy, and this cord is an exact replacement. Works flawlessly.

Worked well with a slight modification for my model. Had to cut off the pre-installed ends as they wouldn't fit. Up and running in about 10 minutes.

Perfect replacement for Porter Cable saw!
Perfect replacement for saw. had to strip another 1.5" of the cable off the end, but then I had enough to wrap the cable into the wiring into the channels. The wire ends need 2 very small round wire ends to match what was in the original saw. if you don't have them you could wrap the wire around the screws. Took about 15 minutes to complete the entire job. A 15.00 item saved a 200.00 saw!
