I bought this for my kayak so I could store it outside in the winter. It's very nice quality and probably would fit most sized kayaks. I like that it comes with a storage bag and a strap that is most helpful for one person to be able to move it by themselves. I'm an elderly woman and I can move my bulky 10 ft fishing kayak by myself using this strap.

This thing is a game changer. I needed a kayak cover cause I got tired of cleaning my kayak before every use. So I went with the Vulkin kayak cover. It came in a little carrying bag and to be honest I was a bit skeptical that it wasn’t gonna fit my kayak (a long 2 seater). It fitted my kayak perfect. This thing stretches out. It has elastic that goes around the edge of the cover so it will fit a smaller kayak too. It has two heavy duty straps that snap around the kayak to help carry the kayak with ease. Now my kayak is too heavy And too long to carry for one person. So heavy it has a wheel on one end to roll it around. But with the straps and1 strong person it can be carried around and the straps hold. I’m still gonna roll it but if need be I can carry by myself. I recommend this cover 100%. I’m even thinking about buying another for my kayak buddy.

We recently purchased two 10' kayaks that will be stored outside for the summer. Two weeks ago we purchased these Vulkin covers, and we are very satisfied. They are heavier, seem to be of good quality and construction, and they fit the kayaks perfectly. Not only is the "shower cap" design large enough to accommodate the kayak, it's generous enough to fit around the sides to the bottom of the kayak. Straps tighten to hold it all in place, making it very secure. So far, we're very happy with it. (I originally purchased the size up--10'-12'--but found it was WAY too large for our kayaks. This size still fits generously, but is perfect.) These also come with a shoulder strap so that they can be carried by an individual. At 70+, we won't be attempting that, and were glad to see that these carrying straps could simply be removed. Although we've had these a short time, I have a strong feeling that they will work out very well.

Received my order quickly, and I love it! As expected the cover is a little baggy because I have a 9 ft yak. It works great though! I can carry the kayak, and the cover is perfect for storage. I just cinched up the elastic tightly and hung from the barn rafters with straps. Quality product!

I was skeptical. But this Vulkin cover definitely exceeded my expectations! This product is definitely well thought out. The inner material is silver and reflective. The outer layer of material is black, slick and slippery. It's not extremely thick so do be careful not to scratch it or rip or puncture it (that's on you). Making the material much thicker would be my only improvement suggestion. For that I would pay extra. The carrying straps seem to be just strong enough for a 50 pound kayak but beyond that would be questionable. If your kayak is 40 pounds or less absolutely no problem you could carry it around as advertised. No need for a cart because the shoulder pad is comfortable. Elastic drawstring fits around Pungo 120 which is 12 foot 2 inches. I have not really tried using the paddle straps yet that's such a nice touch. I'm not sure I would use it to carry around through the woods only because I would be afraid to ruin it lol

I love the look and the fit. The problem was plastic clip. When I went to lift it and carry it out of the basement for the first time, the plastic clip broke and the kayak in the cover bounce down to concrete basement steps. This left it with holes and a broken strap. It was too badly damage to return so I ate the charge and just duct tape the holes. My suggestion is to make heartier clips/snaps. This could really be a great cover. I might buy another one in the future. If I do I will replace the clips/snaps as soon as I get it. Still shopping around for another one, but we will see.

It is good for storage or carrying your kayak, but not so great for transportation. The elastic isn’t the strongest and the bead for cinching isn’t strong enough to hold it in place. I had to tie a knot in the elastic to keep it tight because the plastic bead basically doesn’t even do anything. The ends flapped off the kayak in the wind during transport so I am going to make some modifications to it hopefully to make it usable as a cover during transportation.

I bought these covers as a gift. My parents have kayaks that we borrow so thought this would be a great gift!I was right! These covers are some of the best I have ever seen. They are made from a great strong material that seems like it will resist puncture. Putting them on the kayak was a breeze! Easy to do by one person.The covers themselves have an elastic band on the edge that makes fitting easy! Once it is fully on just pull the drawstring to tighten it. There are 2 strong straps that keep the cover in place as well. The carrying shoulder strap is adjustable and has a padded area for comfort while carrying. It makes moving a kayak so simple and easy! No more 2 person carries or dragging needed!Overall these covers are great quality at a good price! If I need more covers in the future these are the ones Ill buy!
