WowWee 0825 MiP the Toy Robot, Black, Pack of 1

I purchased this because I thought it had great reviews, however they appear to be very skewed. The MiP’s response to commands and motions is very hit and miss. Sometimes the gestures work, sometimes they don’t. Sometimes he randomly switches modes. He is cute when he dances and balances, but other than that he doesn’t actually do much of anything. Kind of disappointed.

So far, the robot is fun. It has only been used for about an hour, so I can't speak to battery life. However, I only gave it 3 stars because the box was disgusting. It says it's new, but it was clearly opened before (there were dirty tape residue marks near the tape). Luckily I bought the carrying case separately, because I would have been mortified if I had to include the actual box with the gift. I just took the robot out and gifted it in the carrying case.There was an option to rate the remote control, but it didn't come with the remote control. It also didn't come with the extra set of wheels. I would have returned it, but since it took three weeks to get to me, I didn't have time to order a replacement.

I purchased this for my daughter for her birthday after seeing really cool online videos of what it could do. Unfortunately, it turned out to be disappointing - the MiP I received could only balance for a few seconds before falling to the ground. I followed all the trouble shooting to no avail; rather than risk a go exchanging for another MiP, I returned the product & purchased the Zoomer Kitty in its place - my daughter loves it.I assume this was a defective product and the MiP videos are real; however, after reading the reviews, it seems WowWee has a high defect rate with the MiP. Given that, I won't give it one star - if you are willing to take the chance & potentially have to exchange, you could wind up with a cool toy. For me, a 4 yr old doesn't have the patience to deal with a defective MiP.

Really disappointing. He’s cute, and sort of follows hand gestures. After an hour of trouble shooting, we haven’t been able to connect the MiP via Bluetooth to the app. For the price, we should be able to use it, not put it back in the box in a frustrated huff. This was a Christmas present for our son and will be going back.

Mip is a nice little robot. We haven't really got into a lot of the features yet but he is of nice sturdy quality and active. One thing I will say is that I haven't experienced ours being a battery killer as other reviews have stated. He has had the same cheap batteries in since Christmas and is still going strong.

Cute robot that you can control with your phone from an app! It also has a tray that it carries around and you can stack and balance things on it. The robot dances and runs all over the place. Pretty neat how it balances itself. This runs better on hard floor than it does on carpet.

First one sent have a broken Bluetooth. Amazon replaces it no hassles. It’s super fun and very cute. Rechargeable batteries are a must. Kiddos love MiP! They want a second one now so that they can play together (using other games on the app).

When my granddaughter said she wanted a robot that she can control with her tablet, I got a bit worried. Have you seen the price on those things?! Fortunately, Santa was able to find this little guy. The price was right ($49.99), and he did everything she wanted. He's a fun for a child who knows how to take care of their things.

Tenía mis dudas al comprar este juguete pq probé con un Jumping Sumo de Parrot y no me gustó. La batería duraba demasiado poco (unos 12 minutos), los movimientos eran poco precisos y la calidad de la cámara era mala. Pero ha sido todo un acierto! No tiene cámara pero tampoco es necesario. Funciona tanto de forma autónoma como con la aplicación del móvil, la cual funciona perfectamente y el movimiento es bueno y fluido.Va con un pilas AAA lo cual es también un acierto pq puedes tener de reserva y así no tener que esperar horas a que se carguen. Por otra parte suelen durar bastante.Recomendable sin duda.

Semplice ed intuitivo consente di introdurre i bambini alla robotica divertendo ed educando. Servono 4 batterie AAA rigorosamente non incluse ed il cui vano è accessibile solo con cacciavite a stella. L’app di riferimento e’ estremamente consigliata e almeno una nuova app sembra promettere buone funzionalita in termini di programmazione delle azioni del robot. Consiglierei questo prodotto per bambini dai sei anni in su.

Hat im ersten Moment gut gefallen, nach dem ausprobieren, stellte es sich als etwas schwierig zum programmieren mit Handy heraus, vor allem für 10-12 Jährige, obwohl die schon ganz schön fit sind...;-)Dann kann er doch recht wenig tragen, was uns enttäuscht hat und wie gesagt, die Funktionen waren nicht so toll wie von den Kids erwartet.Außerdem könnte die Verpackung des Robos stabiler sein, bzw. wäre ein Köfferchen nicht schlecht ( gepolstert) in das man ihn nach dem Spielen auch einpacken kann.Wir haben uns selbst einen gebaut....

Andiamo subito sul concreto, è decisamente il giocattolo più inutile e di conseguenza costoso che abbia mai visto, i comandi con le gesture sono inutilizzabili, sembra tutto molto casuale (sfido chiunque a muoverlo in modo coerente in questa modalita), alla fine l'app è indispensabile e tra tutte le funzioni l'unica fruibile è il comando per muoverlo, in pratica si trasforma in una macchinina telecomandata, di cui se ne trovano a bizzeffe a meno di 50euro, i sensori funzionano solo quando si usano i comandi con le mani, ma lasciano il tempo che trovano, si ferma di fronte a un muro ma si schianta sui piedi di una sedia, conclusione 100euro buttate

Preso a Natale per un regalo a mia figlia di 9 anni. Molto bello. Lei si diverte molto. Anche la app è ben fatta e permette di guidare il robot con facilità tramite smartphone o tablet. Un poco più difficile la guida gestuale. Nella confezione ci sono anche delle belle schede per le istruzioni, il vassoio porta oggetti da agganciare davanti al robot, ed un piedistallo per tenere in piedi il robot quando è spento. Ottimo acquisto a un prezzo più che ragionevole.
