I haven't been using a curling iron for quite some time - just a round brush & blow dryer. But for Christmas, I told my husband I would like a curling iron & he selected this one on his own. I love that it heats quickly & really gets hot. (I've never had a glove to use with a curling iron and haven't used the glove yet but it might be wise to start using it.) The cord is a good length. The barrel is a good size for my shoulder length hair. I'm very happy with hubby's choice on this gift!
