DIRECTV AIM 2.0 Advanced Installation Meter for DIRECTV Satellite Dishes (AIM20)

A tech would use this meter for installing directv. I bought it for the portable antenna on my motorhome, and it works great. You put in the zipcode where you are, and it tells you the rough settings. It picks up the satellites and tells you when you have the best signal. I tried a cheap meter and it couldn't even get a signal. I don't know much about decibels and frequencies and stuff. Give me something simple and I'll pay for it. The automatic antenna that would fit on the roof was close to 2000 bucks. Nice to have my favorite channels when I'm away from home.

Works great but Manufacturer can’t supply extra battery, Still looking.

I cannot upgrade the meter as per the instructions solid signal has not helped I talked to one tech, he said he knew nothing about the aim q2.0 meter - he said to hold the line for about 10 minutes and the line went dead. since then I tried 4 times to talk to a tech, they say they will ball me back but never do. how would you rate this seller?

Every year my husband struggled for days in order to get the satellite lined up to work the tv when we are camping. This gadget had a perfect connection in five minutes. Worth every expensive penny!

Received it when it was supposed to arrive. You do have to sign for it. Used it to aim a Satelite dish and it worked well with easy to use on screen directions
