Safr Home Therapy Weighted Blanket & Removable Cover (60"x80" | 20 lbs, Grey Cooling)

This is the third weighted blanket that I have purchased, and by far my least favorite. I went with this brand because of the price and the promise of a bigger size.I gave this blanket a solid week of trying before deciding to return it. When I first put it in the cover I noticed how thin and scratchy the materials were. For both the blanket and the cooling cover it was an awful thin material. I figured I could just buy a nicer cover but it was still frustrating.As for the actual weighted blanket, the distribution of the little beads is strange. The pockets seem too big for the beads and although they are distributed evenly throughout the blanket, they fall to the sides of each pocket and it kinds of makes a bunch of lumps all over, as opposed to a smoothed out surface of some of the other blankets I have tried. Also, the little beads make a really gritty sandy feel and noise when moved. Aside from the beads, the weight was perfect.Overall, it seemed pretty awful quality and I guess that's good for the price, but for someone who is looking for a weighted blanket that will meet their needs, this is not the one.

This blanket is heavy. Make sure you are aware what 20 lbs feels like. My husband is 190 lbs, 6ft tall. He grew up sleeping with quilt blankets made from army blankets. He missed the weight of sleeping with heavy blankets. This was too heavy for him. I exchanged for a 12lb one and he loves it. That being said it is a nice blanket seemed well made. The duvet will help keep it clean but is difficult to manage cause it is 20 lbs supported by material. He likes the 60x80 size cause it covers him even when he sleeps on his side. It wouldnt cover 2 people unless you sleep very close to each other.

Found this weighted blanket while I was looking for a cooling blanket. As a person with MS, I have an issue with regulating my temperature in the heat. I always wanted a weighted blanket, and when I saw that this was promoted as both a weighted blanket and a cooling blanket, I though I hit the jackpot... well, I didn't! While this is an awesome weighted blanket, if you are looking for it to cool you in any way, it won't. I even have an air conditioner in my bedroom that runs 24/7 until snowfall hits in winter and this blanket made me sweat all night long. I gave it 3 nights in a row now to try and give it a chance, I and will be putting it away until winter due to its heat factor. I'm so disappointed too. Reviews by others seemed so positive. Like I said though, 3 star review is for great weighted blanket, 2 stars off for lack of cooling blanket. If it wasn't so much $ to send back, I would, but I will just hold on to it for winter.

These are photos after washing the cover 2 times on gentle cycle and air drying. Very poor quality. I’m afraid next time I wash the cover it will come fall apart. I highly recommend another brand.

This blanket came with the cover already on it. I recommend that you unzip it and retie all the connection points because mine came untied day 3. The zippers are a little odd they unzip from the middle, one goes up & one goes down. Some nights the weight seems to shift to one side but if I tip it up it redistributes easily. The blanket is really soft and helps me sleep. The biggest problem with these blankets is if they hang over the bed the weight will pull them right off so try to keep it on the bed.

Ordering the 20-pound blanket is my mistake. I like that is is all cotton and the duvet is washable. I gave it 4 stars because the blanket slips around too much inside the cover. There are anchor points inside the cover in the middles of the sides, but I going to have to add some in the corners, too.I WAS WRONG! There are ties in the corners, I just missed them. Sorry SAFR!

i have chronic insomnia and this blanket helps me quite a bit; the only issue i have with the blanket is that i have to literally crawl inside of it to tie it to the duvet cover; if i was younger i'd be able to do it on a regular basis, i'm sure; the blanket is very soft; i like it very much and have recommended it to several of my friends

Nice blanket, heavy is a plus BUT the cover for the blanket was very difficult to get on the blanket. And was not adequate to prevent the blanket from moving around inside the cover. I’m a small female, this blanket Exhausted me just trying to put the cover on it!
