Using with Sharp LC-70SQ15U
I purchased two of these glasses for use with my new Sharp LC-70SQ15U 3D tv, and they have been terrific. One thing to note is that during the initial synchronization, the instructions state that the glasses need to be within about 12 inches or so of the TV, when the TV is actively transmitting in 3D mode. If you're standing just a little too far away from the TV when you push the synchronization button, or the TV isn't presenting a 3D image, the glasses won't sync with this TV, and you'll think they're defective Also, if at any point the TV stops presenting a 3D image, the glasses turn off.I did have an accident where I dropped the glasses onto a hard floor from about waist high. While there was no visible damage to the glasses, they wouldn't charge again, so I had to order another pair. (read as: don't drop the glasses onto a hard floor!).These come with a USB charging cord, probably the same one that you might use for your cell phone. I haven't drained a battery completely yet, as I just thrown them on the charger every two or three movies, so I don't know how long a single charge will hold. All told, these are great glasses for use with my Sharp TV, and I am very happy with them.

They do the job..
I purchased 3 of this glasses and they are working very good. At first I was going to return them because I just couldn't make them work at all but my son was able to program all 3. Unfortunately this 3D's don't like me the little demons every time I want to use them it's impossible unless my son it's home to get them to work for me.The thing I hate is that you need to synchronize them every single time you want to use them and I just can't do it my self I don't know why It's so frustrating I have to rely on my son. Also, it takes my son like 5 minutes to synchronize all 3 pairs. 5 minutes it's not much time but when you are waiting to see a movie it is an inconvenience. They do come with a USB cable to charge at a USB port. I wish it came with the wall electric one but it doesn't. Also, it doesn't come with an indestructible heavy duty storage box like it states. Other than that they do the job.Elsito..

3D Glasses Are Fantastic
These glasses are great. The 3D effect with my Sharp Aquos TV is simply stunning. I haven't tried 3D since the old days of red and blue glasses. I didn't like it then and I was betting I wouldn't like it now. I was wrong. The 3D of today is simply amazing. I can not tell how much I was blown away by watching a 3D movie. The glasses were comfortable and I was able to wear them over my normal glasses and it was great. If you are on the fence about modern 3D, don't be. It's amazing. One note though is that my brain refused to process the 3D at first. My brain was insisting it is simply not possible. But then I blinked and suddenly I was in the movie. Really, truly amazing.

Great Value - IR and Bluetooth connectivity in one device
I recently purchased a 2013 Sharp 60LE755U 3D television which came with two pairs of 3D glasses (AN3DG40). I was hoping to use the 3D glasses that I had purchased last year for my 70LE847U television on the new television. Unfortunately the AN3DG30 glasses that work on last year's Sharp 3D television set do not work with the newer 2013 television. The reason: the 2012 Sharp television uses an IR (infrared, i.e., optical) link to control the shutter on the 3D glasses, while the 2013 model uses a Bluetooth (radio frequency) link. The beauty of the 3D Heaven glasses is that they operate over both an IR link (for my 2012 television) and over a Bluetooth link (for my 2013 television). For me this is a great bonus, however, for most users you can simply be assured that it will work with your Sharp television regardless of its control link technology.Beside the dual mode interface, the 3D Heaven glasses do have some advantages over the Sharp models. For example:1. Comparison to the Sharp AN3DG30. In this comparison, I clearly like the 3D Heaven glasses over the Sharp AN3DG30. I have a regular "man-sized" head, and I noticed that the 3D Heaven glasses do not slide down my nose like the Sharp glasses do. Up until this point, I had resorted to using one of those sunglass neck straps tightened to keep the glasses from sliding down my nose. Regardless of which of the Sharp nose bridge inserts I used, the AN3DG30 glasses would slide off my face. I attribute this largely to the fact that I generally wear bifocals under the 3D glasses. Now, I simply use the 3D Heaven glasses and have no more need to adjust the glasses or resort to a strap while viewing 3D content. So, in short, the 3D Heaven glasses just fit better than the Sharp AN3DG30 glasses, particularly if you wear eyeglasses in addition to the 3D glasses.2. Comparison to the Sharp AN3DG40. Here the advantage of the 3D Heaven glasses are a bit less striking. The AN3DG40 glasses are less bulky and weigh a bit less (1.6 oz / 44 g for the 3D Heaven vs. 1.1 oz / 32 g for the AN3D40), but I haven't really noticed much difference over the course of a 2 hour movie. The fit between the two glasses is comparable -- no advantage to either. The 3D Heaven glasses are rechargeable via a provided USB cable, while the Sharp AN3DG40 glasses use a replaceable watch-style battery. I personally prefer the rechargeable aspect of the 3D Heaven glasses, but I can fully understand why someone would prefer not to have to deal with cabling the glasses for charging. (I just use a USB hub on a covered shelf where I store the glasses for charging.) With respect to performance, I would give a slight nod to the AN3DG40 since it seems to pair instantly with the television, while the 3D Heaven glasses take a few seconds (~5 - 7 sec) at start up to pair. For me this is not a big issue.I have noticed no optical performance difference between the 3D Heaven glasses and the Sharp models (AN3DG30 and AN3DG40).The 3D Heaven glasses are of decent construction. The hinge pivots are approximately 1/2 in. in height and made of the same material as the frames. The hinges are neither overly stiff nor overly loose. The plastic material is a bit softer than some cheap sunglasses which affords the temples to flex a bit to allow the glasses to accommodate various head sizes comfortably.I am quite pleased with the 3D Heaven glasses

Works on Sharp Bluetooth 3D
Ok this works for my Sharp 2013 LC-70LE857U which was my main concern. The glasses that came with the TV are just horrible, they are open on each side so they let in too much light. Sharp doesn't make another pair that works with my model TV so I'm left with after market glasses. These glasses have sides on them that act like shields that block most of the light.. This is my first 3D TV I've ever bought and I wasn't so excited to learn that my model requires Bluetooth while most if not all others use IR... There are not too many glasses on the market for the 857's and even if they will work they don't (yet) call out this newer model in any literature. Also these are actually very comfortable and have slightly larger lenses than the ones sharp provided. In this case a little is a lot! I also like the USB rechargeable battery feature. For the price I think these are a good deal but I'll hold final judgement until I'm able to test drive them awhile and can rate the battery life. For now I have zero complaints and well that's a 5 in my book..
