Spigen Rugged Armor Designed for Moto Z4 Case (2019) - Matte Black

Decided on this case by reading other reviews and seeing overall high ratings. The design and material fit the z4 very well and confidently. Phone fits snugly and doesn't shift within so far at one month of use. The face edge of the case is about 1/16+ of an inch above the face of the screen and the rim is shy of 3/16 of an inch surrounding the phone for protection without feeling bulky which is what I was seeking. The tactile feel of the material has enough friction for grip without a rubbery feel. The carbon fiber accents on the back side ends are pleasing. The buttons allow positive function and the cut-outs are accurately placed and centered on the corresponding ports. Lastly, on the back side there are raised feet that follow the corners about a 1/4" to lift the case slightly to aid in picking up the phone from a flat surface, a nice ergonomic touch.

The Spigen Rugged Armor cases are very good for phones. I bought one for my Motorola Moto Z3, and when I upgraded to the Moto Z4 I bought one for it as well. The have excellent drop protection and provide better grip when holding the phone because of the material that they are made of, and the quality is very comparable to Tech21 cases. I highly recommend Spigen Rugged Armor cases, and I will definitely buy their cases in the future!

This case does a great job protecting the sides and back of the phone, and with raised lips around the front edge and camera opening, it protects those from touching the surface directly when you set the phone down. The material is easy to grip, not slippery, and the cutouts are VERY precise. Lots of cases claim to be made for the Z4, but miss openings like the tiny round microphone on the bottom edge of the back, or they mistakenly leave an opening for the metal MotoMod contacts, even though you can't attach a Mod once you've put on a case!The price was great, too. Just goes to show you can depend on Spigen.

The case is great, and fits perfectly! The edges are harder than the rest of the case, which gives it more security. I wish that there were different colors available and the back of the case to have extra reenforcement. Overall, it's a great case and makes it easy to hold the phone. It doesn't add any bulkiness either.

I use my phone in a lot of rough work. This case has turned out to be very solid protection for it, plus the metal phone is slick to handle, especially in cold weather. This case makes it a lot easier to hold, the rubbery material also has a very slight texture molded into it that helps you grab it. It will probably last far longer than my phone.

This is my second Spigen case on my second phone now and I must say that although there were little reviews for this case, I was very familiar with the brand from an older phone I had. It fits very well and no issues with my screen protector either. It's very slim and non-intrusive design that flatters the phone with the accents on top and bottom while not taking away the fit in your pocket still. I definitely recommend for the Moto Z4 phone!

So I was getting out of my truck with my phone in my coat pocket and didn't realize I dropped it in the driveway. My Fiance came home and drove right over it. I had the phone in its case and protective glass over the screen. The glass is toast, but the phone is fine! The case held up. Don't listen to people who say you have to fork out a fortune on a phone case.

Fits perfect, easy on and off for when you want to use your moto mods and offers decent drop protection. I've dropped my device from 3ft to concrete with no damage to the device.
