Went to Italy and needed it for blow dryer but it did not work in all the outlets had to find which one actually worked. But I was able to use it for my hair dryer in Italy

This was a solid performer on our recent trip to Europe and worked perfectly in converting the current - beware of buying just an adapter when traveling to Europe as you MUST get a converter to step the voltage down from 240V to 120V. It handled my wife's hair dryer with no problem as well as charging multiple phones and tablets simultaneously. It is somewhat heavier than another unit we purchased at the same time, although the other unit failed after one use. This unit also came with multiple adapters so you can use it in different parts of the world, which is a big plus if you travel internationally to various locations. The one downside, but not a deal-breaker, is that it makes a weird sound when plugged in - think of it as Darth Vader breathing in hushed tones! Don't worry, it's very low....but it is there.

I bought 5 of those, sent them to my buddies back home. First of all, it burnt a room heater and a three chargers. Secondly, after the damages were done, when they put them to voltage test, each outlet showed a random different voltage rating from 40V up to 220, as opposed to staying within the close range of 110V at least! Unfortunately this all happened recently. And even if the return window was not over, retiring them to the states alone is an unjustified costs compared to the price of each piece! Plus, now we’re left with damages to a heater and a bunch of chargers.

Went on a trip to Europe and this was the best item to take. Took only 1 outlet plug for Europe, and I was able to charge multiple things. I did not take a mini blow dryer, but I should have to not hog the bathroom, just letting you all know that you can charge using this converter and adapter to use a blow dryer if it doesn't have a volt switch to change the voltage.

I travel a lot between the US, East Africa, Central Africa and Europe. It had always been an issue when it came to plugging the equipment while outside US. In Kampala I had to find a British adapter and in Kinshasa I had to find a solution for a European type adaptor. Not only this comes with a variety of adapter heads for practically all the countries, but it helps you keep your appliances under US voltage, which is a non negligible plus. And a bonus, the USB and USB type C outlets so you don’t even need a charger for your phones. Con : sometimes, you will hear a soft buzzing and it might scare you. The accessory is a perfect travel companion.

only thing to dislike was the noise the fan makes while running otherwise works great for what its intended

Not recommend.... It shut down my slow cooker.... Almost get fire in my kitchen.... Do not buy
