We been places!!!
Very good bike and packs a good amount of good components for the value. It took me just about 45 mins to assemble it and tune the brakes. The bike comes 80 % assembled already and in my case the rear derailleur came spot on with no hanger damage whatsoever, so that's a plus. The bike is super capable and responsive, the rear and front brake came I would say almost ready to go just had to do very minimal adjustment to them. So far the only negative thing about it is that the front rotor came slightly bent and that's a bit of a let down for a bike at this price. I will write another review after a trail ride. Stay cool!🚨update🚨After the trail test for 2 hours I could honestly say the bike stood up to the test with no major issue whatsoever. One thing that didnt stand the test were those wellgo pedals. They were literally creaking so much, I think they cracked inside the bearings. That was the only issue really so expect that to happen to you depending on how you ride. The rest was just super smooth. I have already upgraded to Chester pedals but that's about what you really need to upgrade in this bike for now. SOLID BIKE!

Fantastic first Mtb
I love it. Good quality parts, especially for the price. The 27.5+ tires are very forgiving and help build confidence. The 1x11 setup is a lot less fuss and trouble than a front derailleur. I had no problems setting it up, I wouldn't consider myself an experienced mechanic, but not a total novice either. It's biggest downside is its weight, but your not going to find anything lighter in this price range, and the other components make up for a lot of that.Fit wise, I'm 5'11 and find the large pretty good but maybe a tad too large. I would maybe get a size smaller if I were more experienced

Awesome, fun, nice beginner/intermediate bike.
Great beginner bike. I have had so much fun with it. My only complaint is that the rear shock doesn't have a "lock out" mode. I just put a new/better back shock in. I have done mountain biking with climbs, downhill mb parks, and even have a few road miles on it. The front shock is very sturdy and has plenty of travel for someone beginning. The tires have decent tires and nice rims. Would and have recommended this bike to anyone. Also I put on a dropper seat post but that's personal preference. It does have holes for an internal wire in the seat post.

Great bargain and a blast
Have a 2017 Kodiak II. It makes a great cross country or trail bike. If you’re looking for a downhill or all mountain, expect to be disappointed. It is super stable and very comfortable. The tires and suspension make for a very enjoyable ride. You can even try it in the snow in the sand.I’m a bit concerned about the long-term durability of the crank and the hubs, but time will tell.Don’t pay retail, nobody else does. Some little stuff is annoying like no gear position indicator, no rear shock lock out, hard to access user manuals and it’s a bit heavy.Overall it’s great how it just rolls over stuff! This Kodiak is like the Honey Badger. “It doesn’t give a $@!&....it’s hungry”...for trails!
