I use these to protect my yarn stash and my finished knit projects from moths. I use two or three per bin or drawer. I also hang some in my closet to protect my good wool shirts and the husband's suits. These smell great and they are closed up snug at the top so the shavings don't fall out. I initially ordered one pack just to see what they were like, and immediately ordered two more (I have a lot of yarn). I feel like they are a good value.

I’m astonished by the reasons for the bad reviews. Mostly that the fragrance is light and not in your face cedar.I have cedar wood blocks that are *years* old still with a very light scent, still keeping the moths away. (Can’t remember what the scent was when they were brand new). So I can’t ding them on the nice, light scent like others have!As far as moths, well it’s too soon to tell. I’ll come back to update.

The media could not be loaded.  This product has 12 bags of cedar pieces at a great price. The bags do contain cedar, as you can see in my photos and video, I opened them up to look. My one star removal lies in my suspicion these bags were soaked, sprayed, or otherwise made contact with cedar oil outside of the oil in the wood pieces. The scent is very strong and the bags feel oily while the wood inside is quite dry and mild smelling. I suspect they added oil to the bags to increase the scent. Unsure how that plays into effectiveness but wanted to share that observation.

J/k. It smells of rich cedar. Most def helped stop the funk of my daughter’s soccer cleats dead in its tracks though. Good thing, by the way. Before these Cedar Sachets Bags, her cleats smelled like raw sewage. For real.

They're scented lightly. Measure maybe 1/4 inch thick by 3x6.

don't dare store wool without cedar (moth balls-yuk, no thanks) these tucked away nicely. Next Fall, when I get out wools, I will recycle the cedar in chicken roost, then put in new shavings when I store wools in Spring! Easy, environmentally friendly, and cheap; overall, you will come out smelling like a rose-er cedar tree.

I love the smell of cedar. We don’t use anything with a scent in our laundry so it’s nice to have a natural way to add a light scent to your bedding, throw blankets, etc. I’ve thrown these little bags in drawers and chests and it adds a nice clean scent. Combine with a small sachet of lavender or rose for a more feminine scent.

I noticed silverfish in our bathroom vanity. With some research, I discovered I could solve my problem w/cedar chips. And, they are not toxic. These chips are in sachet bags - nice & tidy. I put them in all the bathroom vanities; had enough to do most of the closets. So far, I haven't seen one silverfish. They are working!!
