Located on the front of the carriage, baby will find 4 shaped buttons that activate original songs that teach ABC's, 1-10, colors, shapes and more. The horse and the pink comforter are attached with Velcro and can be taken to play, to bed or into the washing machine! Sure to please the Princess as well as the King and Queen! Troubleshooting steps: 1. Please locate the battery box in the Velcro pocket 2. Unscrew cover 3. Replace the try me batteries with NEW 3 AA batteries 4. Swipe your fingers over them to make them roll, to make sure they are in properly 5. Make sure connectors touch ends. We have found that some connectors are longer than others and this works best with the longer connector. If the connector is shorted like on a Duracell battery, you may need to add a little foil to trigger connection. 6. Screw the cover back on 7. Make sure that the on switch is in the on position 8. Pinch around each shape and locate each little switch (one at a time). Gently move the switch back under the shape by pinching gently while moving it. 9. This should get all the switches working. They can be activated by pressing/pinching each shape one at a time. Please note that if the button is pressed/pinched twice in a row that it will stop the song and will need to be reactivated by pinching/pressing again. Also some songs start out low so please listen a few seconds before pressing again.

It's a well made product for sure. I wanted so badly for my daughter to love it. On her first birthday she cried terribly when the music began playing. I don't blame her. The idea of a musical rocker seemed sweet but the songs are straight out of horror movies. She won't go near it and stares at it in horror whenever she sees it. After weeks I finally got her comfortable enough to come up to it and touch it. Just when I thought she might put some weight on it the music was triggered. She screamed and ran to me shaking.

Beautiful rocker
Bought this for my granddaughter, she's 9 months.She sits comfortably in it, but I do have to keep a hand on her.She loves this rocker!The rocker is beautifully made!Vibrant colors, sturdy, good quality.

This was great, but now the speaker/songs no longer work
This was a birthday gift for my little niece. She loves it, but she’s very sad now that it doesn’t play music anymore. It’s the perfect rocker for her because it supports her back (she has cerebral palsy so she can’t hold herself upright for an extended period of time). She also has sensory issues, but she loved the songs that played on this horsey.

This is REALLY cute but a little dangerous the older and taller your child gets. My daughter used it fine when she was 2 and 3 but toward the end of 3 and as a 4 year old she would flip it over forward if she rocked to hard. Also, one of the sound buttons stopped working after a month of owning it. I didn't try to return it because she was still enjoying it.

Old Product sent with Leaking Batteries and handles are not evenly distributed
The product appears to be excellent. I sent it as a gift and it was not opened until it was beyond the return time when the child was old enough to use it. Upon opening, the handles the child should hold while rocking are not even distributed. Additionally, batteries were pre-installed and leaked. I believe an old unit or returned unit was sent that is defective. It is not clear how to contact the vendor to get a replacement that is new.

Extremely disappointed
This is shoddy and disappointing. The back of the horses head has a Velcro opening and it came wide openwith nothing inside. It won't close!! I'm afraid to open where I think the batteries are because that probably won't close either. The child can stick their hand in this opening that won't close and pull out stuffing to choke on.

Just as described. My 1 year old enjoys taking the horse on and off the front. She's too young to be able to rock herself yet but loves to sit in it and play with the music buttons. So cute!
