They are beautiful, but it’s not clear when you order them that you have to unwind each strand. I ordered 36 for a wedding and this was a really big job!

I really wish these lights came with a power supply or maybe a USB cable. Otherwise they are pretty nice. Don't try to spread them out too far. They look better close together. I rigged up a power supply. It was a lot of work.

This lights run on 4 AA batteries. There is a hook that you can hook on anything (a loop of string around the top of a blind, for example). Not having to plug them in allows flexibility. You get to do a little creative work, separating the strands, and the filaments at the end of the strands. If you want, you can leave them all together, and they look like cone shaped rocket ships. I most often pry them apart into a roughly spherical look. There are also remote controls, which I use primarily for turning them on and off. But there are a bunch of different settings, from slow fades, to fast blinks, to a rotation of all the possibilities. I try to be sensitive to my neighbors. I don't particularly like a lot of flashing lights, so that is just a function I use when I am "showing off" what they can do for somebody. So, they are not expensive, they are flexible, and they are fun. Occasionally a remote doesn't work, but it doesn't matter as any remote will work on any unit, so you have plenty to choose from.

I bought these for my yard. Since they are battery operated, they didn’t work well in the cold. I brought them in and they work great though. Look nice and easy to set up. I’ll keep these inside for decorating next year and find something else for outdoors.

Really easy setup, great price. My wife wants 2 more for our backyard. Very good looking and the remote provides lots of settings. Battery is included for the remote. You will need to provide 8 AA batteries for the 2 pack. Otherwise great little starlight. My wife is super happy. Thank you

Love these!We hang the 4 starburst/globes from the ceiling of our front porch at slightly different heights. We're very pleased, and received compliments from neighbors!SET UP: Expect to spend a while to form the globes! Each has 25 strands to move, spread & position carefully. You can form an inner small bright globe, surrounded by a larger, more delicate globe of light... which alternate with a "burst" effect on one of the remote settings.REMOTE: We like the variety. Of the 8 lighting patterns, we use the slower, subtler ones. You can set all 4 globes to come on at the same time each day (with auto-off after 4 hours (or is it 6?). You get a remote with each of the 4 globes. All are identical; any of them will control any of the globes.BATTERIES: each globe uses 4 batteries. **You need to take the each unit down to change batteries.**So! we bought high capacity Li-ion batteries and a heavy duty recharger, and got 10-14 days per charge. Not cheap, but worth it.STORAGE: They are quite delicate! If you cram them in a small or flat box for storage, you might have a mess next holiday season. Also since the wires are small, they might suffer from damage after repeated packing/unpacking. Best to pack each in a box approx 12x12x12", or, as we did, suspend them inside a box approx 12x12x48.

Seems smaller than in pic and kinda just a bunch of wire with small lights. Cool effect but we will see how long they hold up

We purchased this 4 pack after seeing them on our neighbors lawn during the holiday season and knew we had to have it. They held the battery charge throughout the holiday season and surprisingly endured the weather as well! I would recommend them and would be open to buying more down the road.Pros:1) The remotes have a decent distance, allowing me to turn them on from just inside.2) They were bright and a decent size. I was expecting 8-10" but they were surprisingly bigger.3) Battery lasted the holiday season. We used rechargable Duracell batteries.4) The hook to hang them on was large enough to latch on to branches for a couple of them.Cons:1) They are not based on a timer. That would be helpful and remove the daily need of turning them on.2) The strands at the top stayed up well but could still be a bit more resilient.
