MTEL General Curriculum (03) Exam Secrets Study Guide: MTEL Test Review for the Massachusetts Tests for Educator Licensure

Previously, I spent a lot of time taking practice exams, watching history documentaries and playing educational games, etc. It got me pretty close, but not close enough! I am big into reading reviews from others and seeing what they think of the product. I decided on this book because it had the best reviews and I liked what the company said about it. When I received my book in the mail, I was really discouraged with how skinny it is! Then, I opened it. There is a ton of information crammed into this book and they include a link to more information if you're interested, as well as a link to flash cards (these are another $40). It also includes test taking strategies that are nice to be reminded of. So far, I am pleased with my purchase! Just On their website, the book is for sale for $40.FYI. I ended up passing. :)

Got this book for my daughter upon a recommendation of a fellow teacher. She passed the test after using just this book! Hopefully, we will have that same satisfaction!

I haven't taken the exam yet, but I think it has a lot of information and I feel I know more now than I did before - which will hopefully allow me to be better prepared for the exam. I like how the information is organized and is in an easy form to read and understand that is not too overwhelming. I'm hoping this DVD will give me some extra points on how to pass this test. Thank you!

Although the size of the book is under 200 pages i feel so much more prepared for my MTEL test! I highly suggest this products and think it is very competitive with the $300+ prep books out there.

I have taken the MTEL two times and unfortunately failed by a few points and every study material I bought wasn't accurate to the real MTEL. So far, I have noticed that the questions in this book are exactly like how they are on the real MTEL. Other books had questions that were too easy and just not realistic for preparing for the MTEL. Having this book, I honestly believe I'll pass the MTEL next time I take it.

Review book seems pretty thorough, and I like the links to review videos online. Some sections seem way too brief. I've also found several typos, which doesn't make me feel too confident about its quality. We'll see how the test goes..

I think that it prepared me very well and gave me lots of information that I had been searching for in online resources but couldn’t find. It’s all right there and I don’t have to go searching and waste time, I can just study.
