Smiffys Michael Jackson Bad Costume (Large)

I am yet to put this costume to the test, by test I mean an all night outdoor summer party involving alcohol, a disco bouncy castle and lots of Michael Jackson music, the reason I mention the bouncy castle is because of the amount of buckles,belts and things that could get snagged on other people and possibly break off the costume, if you are wearing it just to a venue this will not be a problem but let's see how it holds out when the time comes. The costume arrives in its own zip up bag to protect it which is very good and it has a built in internal pocket to hold all the accessories that come with the jacket and trousers, these accessories include, 2 belts (this looks like 3 as the brown one wraps around you twice), 2 arm braces with buckles and thumbs covered (as worn in for example the dirty Diana video) and 2 shoe covers of which I won't be wearing due to my shoes coming on and off for the bouncy castle. The trousers have the red stripe up one side and all the buckles and loops you could imagine (the only thing it doesn't have is a bit of white shoe lace hanging from the loop on the right leg as some super fans will notice he had in some videos in the Bad era). The jacket looks the part with all the zips and buckles you can imagine and is of good quality, better quality than the trousers even! Mine did arrive with the coat hanger badly damaged and of little use and VERY sharp where snapped so do be careful when unzipping the bag. As for sizing I am of the awkward size of long (34 inch) legs and a small (32 inch) waist I gambled and went with large because any smaller and I look like I am in 3/4 length trousers (or half mast as we said at school). The large for me was fine in every aspect jacket wise, leg length wise but for some reason the waist on a large is way too big for me (I could probably have researched this better in all honesty). The trousers have a zip and a metal hook fastener however they would just fall off my 32 inch waist in a Large so I am utilising the black belt with the metal hoops and having it as tight as possible to hold the trousers up, all in all you do look and should feel the part in this costume, verdict....VERY IMPRESSED!

Was really impressed with the detail and number of items. Looks really good. Except there is a very noticeable black mark on the red stripe running down the leg of the trousers. Don't really have time to return and wait for another. Such a shame quality control missed this as otherwise it's a great product.

We did a show for charity at our school the amount of people that came up to us after the show and said how the costume look fantastic

This outfit really made my night, good money well spent, kinda wish i never had to take it off :)
