Great lenses, Good frames, Priced right
The reviews seem all over the board on these. Here is the truth. I use these at work every day with a double monitor set up, plus my laptop screen. I spend about six or seven hours actively looking at the screens. With two side-by-side screens, I would definitely notice any distracting distortion. These simply do not have distortion, despite what some reviewers are saying. But maybe that changes at the strongest prescription levels. In any case, when I compare these to the half dozen cheaper readers I have around the house and office, these lenses are much thinner and therefore produce less distortion.To be fair, high-end prescription lenses have even less distortion. But I find these lenses to be very good quality for the price, and totally suitable for daily heavy use. They effectively reduce blue light without making everything look yellow, or off-color. The frames are fairly light weight, but not the lightest. They have been durable so far, and required no adjustments or tightening.I am totally happy with my purchase, and would buy these again.

Great if you only look straight ahead.
I have quite a few pairs of reading glasses, and these are the most overpriced and underperforming glasses yet. They seem to be a poor quality plastic lens that if you look at anything less than 100% straight on, they cause serious distortion. I have other Foster Grant glasses at 1/3 the price that are 3 times better, so i don't understand it. Save your money and shop elsewhere.

Pretty good, especially for the price
I ordered these directly from FGX after Amazon inadvertently sent me the wrong pair (unsurprisingly, Amazon rectified this error with no trouble at all). For the price, they're a perfectly good set of readers that do a really decent job of cutting down on high-energy blue light that's emitted from LCD screens such as computer monitors, smart phones, and tablets.I wanted to wait until I got a really good pair of blue light filtering glasses to compare them. In terms of performance, they're very similar. I can't tell that my more expensive glasses (with Kodak BlueReflect lens coatings) are blocking any more blue light. They could be, but for my uses, I see no difference. These FG's did the job I wanted them to, which was to cut down on my end-of-day eye fatigue (burning, watering, and headaches). For the record, I'm a software engineer who spends 8 hours a day in front of two LCD screens, and way too much time on my iPhone, iPad, or Kindle Fire.There are only three cons:1. The inside of the lenses is more reflective than I would have liked. When there's a light source off to either side of me, I become very aware of a reflection of my own eyes on the inside of the lenses, which can be distracting. My expensive glasses do this, too, but not as much.2. The lenses don't offer nearly the clarity of my more expensive pairs, and sometimes things are a little noticeably hazy. You could chalk this up to "No duh - they're $35 glassess" and you'd be right.3. Like all my FG readers that have nose pads, the nose pads are loose on their stems and rattle around. No big deal, but it irritates me a little bit.All in all, you're hard-pressed to go wrong for the price. They're comfortable readers that work well, and really do a good job of cutting down on blue light and the associated symptoms of exposure to it. I wore them every day at work while I waited for my more expensive, prescription pair to arrive, and they helped me a lot. I have them sitting in a case right next to my monitor for the inevitable day when I will forget my pricier ones.Verdict: If you need readers and you spend any amount of time staring at an LCD screen of any sort, order these.

Wearable all day; perfect for the computer.
I had a pair of these I bought at a drugstore, but after several years, the finish wore off one temple piece. But they fit perfectly, are tinted for heavy computer use (which is what I do), and are comfortable. So when I found the same glasses here on Amazon, buying a pair was a no-brainer, and I'm extremely satisfied with these glasses. I use separate glasses for computing and for reading, so when I need a new pair of readers, this is the model I'll be buying.

Best option for computer use, highly recommend, tried many
These are the best reading glasses I've ever owned. I've worn progressive bifocals everyday since 2005, and have always needed to have a pair of 2.0, then 2.25, now 2.5 readers for computer use and general reading, since they offer a much larger field of vision. I've tried many options and these are absolutely the best - spring hinges, durable frames, great clarity, no distortion and a gentle tint that takes the strain off staring at a monitor all day. Pay the extra and buy these.

Handsome frames but poor lens quality.
Tried these but the lens quality was terrible it was distorted to the point you could not look to the side without distortion. I am disappointed that Foster Grant would produce such poor quality products. I have purchased several pair of F.G. glasses in the past but I'm having second thoughts about buying again.

Exceptionally poor quality
My dime store glasses are better designed and lighter in weight and work perfectly. Should have stuck with them. The worst thing about these? DISTORTION. As soon as you look outside the sweet spot in the center of the lens, everything blurs so as to be illegible. They're very heavy, so they constantly slide down my nose. Wish I had returned them (I threw them aside and forgot to).

Cool look from outside but...
I wanted to like these. Nice fit, high quality, light weight, cuts the blue as advertised.But the lenses are odd. The magnifying is limited to a coin sized area while the rest of each lens is neutral. So its like looking through tiny old-fashioned or maybe steampunk goggles. Similar to the side-to-side view limit of progressive lenses.I think its part of the weight optimization effort, but too weird for me.Possibly my eye pupil distance is not right for these?
