Reliable ignition
I have used the igniter for over a month now and having great success with it. It lights every time and the maintenance of the burn pot is minimal. It works as well as the original factory igniter.

Lasted 5 years, ordering again!
Purchased in January 2020 - just died after a few sporadic days. Ordering another today. 3-5 years is the average lifespan for pellet stove igniters, so this one was at the higher end of the averages. I could buy 10 of these for the cost of a Harman igniter. It's a no-brainer

Two years dead
Update 1/25 Igniter is dead. Got only two years out of it.Update 3/24It seems the igniter is working again. Its been over a month and no problems of not igniting. My five year old Harman stove would not light. I talked to my Harman dealer and he mentioned its the igniter. He mentioned you can go aftermarket, or go with an original Harman igniter. He priced the igniter at Harman at $200.00 or $40.00 for an aftermarket. He added, go with original or you will be sorry.Talking to a friend who has a pellet stove, he mentioned that he bought an aftermarket igniter and it only lights every once in a while.I decided to check online to see if I could find the part cheaper and came across all these cheap aftermarket igniters touting all their great features.... Sure enough, I could not pass on the cheap price. Bought this one in December 23 and now its Feb 24 and the thing does not light. I should of listened to the two people who warned me about these cheap chinese products. Not I have to take my stove apart and install a new Harman igniter. Lesson learned.

Nailed it, literally
Harman XXV stove. Igniter fit perfectly in the bracket and is a good replacement. We have three pellet stoves in the house and one in the garage/shop. This one gets used the most. Running about 18 hrs a day from mid Oct, to mid April. This is an easy part to replace and inexpensive, takes about 15 minutes. One thing that is helpful is to use a 10 d nail, bent over 90 degrees about 3/4 in from the point, to hold and align the mounting screw holes in the bracket on reassembly. The two 1/4" head screws are a little awkward to work with, the nail inserted through one hole in the fire pot will align the bracket and you can hold it while starting the the other screw, snug it up then remove the nail and put in the remaining screw.

Made a big difference
My old igniter got weak and was failing to light. This took about 30 minutes to install. Would likely take 15 now that I know the process. You don't need to take the burnpot out. But it does make it easier to work with and I recommend cleaning the holes with an allen wrench while in there. You'll need to clip the wire ties from the back and feed enough through to be able to work with it from the front and ensure you don't lose them after you unplug it.Pay attention to the side the wires are on before you unclip it from the cradle.Remember to pull the slack wires back out from the back so the insulated part of the wires is back far enough into the stove. After replacing the stove lights up fast and no longer dumps pellets into the ashbin.

Good igniter, but had to do a minor modification to install.
The quality looks great and the igniter fit the holder well. The only problem I had was the connectors plastic insulators were larger than the originals. They wouldn't fit through the hole on my XXV Harmon to connect to the wiring. I cut off the plastic on the igniter wires and was able to install ok. It did remove one layer of protection, but the wiring protectors were sufficient to prevent any shorts. The igniter works great.

A good connection is essential on any electrical job.
Concerned that the connections had very thin connectors inside the plastic. The flat blades were were made too thin .So in order to make a secure tight fit ,I had to crimp the connectors on my stove. Hope they will last?Electrical connections are essential.A bit of a job so with everything apart and the long wait on delivery I tried the igniter .So just be aware of that upon installation.Well after a month of use it stopped working. Waiting to hear from the seller
