Easy to install, good quality.

While this was technically a new battery - it showed zero cycles after installation - a quick check of the date of manufacture shows it was produced in 2015. It works fine, holds a charge, and recharges fine but it obviously had been in a warehouse somewhere. Data obtained from Coconut Battery app, version 3.9.10.

I do a lot of service on MacBooks, and I had waded through a lot of junk on Amazon until I found a good vendor for batteries. Then said vendor stopped selling on Amazon, so I started wading through other battery vendors. Again.Enter the Egoway battery, and I think I found a keeper.First note: It fits. Like, precisely. Where I've had to wedge in other batteries, or the screw holes don't quite line up, this one is actually a perfect spec fit.Second note: I've sent back plenty of other vendor batteries that come out of the box with less than the design capacity for MaH. This one actually comes in with more. This means more duration out of the charge.Time will tell if this one holds up to time and usage, but for now, I've definitely found my candidate for battery replacement.

I purchased this battery after reading a lot of bad reviews on $30 batteries, so I went a bit more expensive on this one. The good news is that my 13' Mid 2012 MacBook Pro recognized it with zero issues. It was a breeze to install. (Just make a template of the back of your laptop and keep track of each screw as they are all different sizes). After having the battery for two days, my negative feedback is the battery life. From a full charge to discharge is about 3 hours. With 8 years of battery innovation I was expecting a newer battery to have equal or better performance than the OEM. Sadly it's about 1/3 of the time my laptop would work when it was new. I'm sure an Apple OEM battery would cost a few hundred bucks (If I could even locate one) but I'm just disappointed that this thing isn't lasting very long. If I were to do it again, I would just buy the cheapest 30.00 battery because this one seems to last just as long as those ones that everyone was complaining about.

Bought to install in my MacBook Pro. I use it for DJing. The original factory battery had degraded. would hold a charge for maybe 20 minutes and would die even if I let my MacBook set for a day unplugged. This battery was great from install to outcome. Prime shipping so I barely had to wait for it. Install was quick and painless. Just watched a few YouTube videos to make sure I was doing right. Plugged right in, now my laptop can go an entire set without needing to worry about it dying mid show.

This is the second battery i get, same brand, the other one last couple of years with no issues but started now to drain out a lot quicker, the installation is very easy and the MacBook immediately recognized the battery with no problems, the package came with two screwdrivers that marched the two types of screws that on the back of the laptop, I thought that was really nice of them to include, it made it less hassle for installation.

My early 2011 MacBook Pro 13” works SOO much better with this new battery. Apparently they slow down to conserve battery power when the old battery gets weak. This new battery makes it like new. Battery life is great, and installation time was less than 15 minutes. Don’t be afraid to change it yourself even if you’ve never done it before. If you can change the light bulb in your fridge, you can do this. Great buy all around.

I have been using this battery for less than a year and the other day the battery would not charge and I found my track pad pushed up. I opened my MacBook to find the battery had swollen. I reached out to Egoway at their website and posted email and have yet to receive a response. They claim they have a 12 month warranty for defects, of which I am sure this qualifies. I just want to replace the battery.
