Exactly what it says it is
Robust, worked as described. I used this to adapt the vent from my tumble dryer to fit into a narrow slot to the exterior of my house. Perfect!

Did the job
Used as part of a tricky static installation of an aircon. It did the job, although 'the job' involved a lot of ingenuity, foamed neoprene sheet, neoprene glue and ingenuity.

Kair Reducer 150mm to 100mm was used to connect from hose to this, (silicone), small tapper screws to connect to the latter part. Jobs a goodn

It takes a hose that faces one way and it changes it to face another way
I ordered this to attach to an air conditioner hose so that it would point at an angle 90 degrees from its original direction - I am pleased to say that this piece of plastic achieves exactly that. Whilst I had to attach the duct with duct tape (who knew?), it does its job admirably and the air dutifully changes direction to the tune of 90 degrees.

The diameter of the circular connector is supposed to be 6 inches, but it's 5.5 inches.
Described as having a 6 inch diameter circular connector, but it's 5.5 inches. Pretty useless if you've already bought a hose of 6 inches in diameter and aren't prepared to 'bodge' a connection. I'll be doing just that because I'm 'bodging' parts together anyway, and this connector/adapter isn't the main component. Still, it's pretty poor show being out by half an inch. Oh, and whilst the thing will do its job once 'bodged' to a 6 inch diameter hose, the plastic is pretty thin and cheap. I wouldn't want to be pushing hot air through it. Oh, and it would have been nice if the delivery driver had actually delivered it to my address, not 2 doors down. The very first house he came to was number 3 which has no number on it, and has no one living in it, and right after that, there is a house with a number 2 on it, and next door to that, MY house, with a number 3 on the door. And he just left it at the unoccupied house, number 1. I'm moaning here because I've had about 6 deliveries over the past week or soand ONLY ONE DRIVER HAS ACTUALLY DELIVERED TO THE RIGHT ADDRESS. 4 HAVE LEFT ITEMS UNATTENDED AT NUMBER 1, AND I'VE GOT A MESSAGE SAYING IT'S BEEN DELIVERED, AND MY WIFE HAS HAD TO GO TO NUMBER ONE AND FETCH IT! ONLY ONE WHO TURNED UP AT NUMBER ONE, AND FOUND IT EMPTY, HAD THE BRAINS TO PHONE AND ASK WHERE I WAS. 'Number 3' I said. 'Two doors further up the road'. Do they not train delivery drivers how British house numbering systems work?
