We love the oven. We think it is overpriced, but we like it.

I have been wanting a Solavore Sport for a long time but couldn't afford it. This is the exact same solar oven as made by Solavore and by SOS before them. I can't wait to use it.

I use this for melting the wax from my bee hives. It works great!

Item looks good but arrived with a broken corner! Only a small part of the broken piece was in the box. Highly disappointed and don’t know if my repair to the corner will reduce effectiveness of the unit. Also didn’t realize that the reflector is ANOTHER 70.00!

This solar oven works great. Food is fantastic - never burns, makes juicy meat, and holds enough for a whole meal for the family. I consider it like cooking with a crock pot only I can take it with me and use it anywhere. Best for camping though we use it at home when we don't want to heat up the house in the summer too. The outside of the oven stays cool so you can pick it up and move it around and its lightweight. Baked beans and BBQ ribs are a specialty and my wife uses it to make a (now famous) carrot cake. Friends and relatives ask for it all the time. You'll be glad you got this oven. Have had it a few years with no problems.

Love this solar oven. Easy to set up, easy to move around. Everything is included to get started right away. Set it out in the morning while working in the yard and let it cook all day. Cinnamon muffins were the first attempt, came out perfect. Have made pork roast, chicken and rice, fritatta, and more. Apple Cake is the best! The company is doing good things too, shipping solar ovens to Puerto Rico to help those affected by Hurricane Maria.

I LOVE my oven - in fact, we have 2! We have a large family, so we use both ovens to cook our main dish as well as side dishes, such as rice or potates (by the way - the Solavore is the ABSOLUTE BEST way to cook potatoes - put them in the oven in the morning, let them cook all day, they are perfectly baked, or roasted, ready for mashing, however you like your tots). We live on a farm and do a lot of canning...the Solavore is a necessary appliance in late summer as we use it to cook up sauces like spaghetti sauce or green chile before going in the canner. So easy to start dinner in the morning, fix it and forget it - ready for consumption at the end of a busy summer day!
