Makita XAG06Z 18V LXT® Lithium-Ion Brushless Cordless 4-1/2" Paddle Switch Cut-Off/Angle Grinder, Tool Only

Grinder with a punch. Like the paddle switch. Easier for those who like to switch power on or off by squeezing the handle. The xag03z has the thumb switch on the top. Included was a grinding disk and cutting disk. Spanner wrench and two safety guard shields for either grinding or cutting disks. Brushless longer lasting power.

Works really well. Plenty of power. But you need several batteries / chargers to keep up with it.

I've been using this grinder for about a month now, I've put it through the motions, and all I can say is that I love it.I use mine with 5.0Ah batteries, and as others have noted it does use up a good amount of juice in a relatively short amount of usage time because of its power output, but that's to be expected. The thickness of the steel/metal that you're cutting seems to directly affect the overall run-time of your battery. I assume the reason for this is because the grinder has to work much harder to get through thicker, heavier metals. But the fact that it's compact, cordless and very efficient makes up for its battery usage.If you intend to do mostly cutting with this grinder like I do, I suggest using 6" cut-off wheels over the 4 1/2". I found that the 6" Diablo wheels at Home Depot work/hold up very well when compared to the 4 1/2" Makita wheels I purchased on Amazon.

This grinder drains 3ah Makita batteries like nobody's business, but I am not even mad. It has comparable torque to a plug-in grinder, but without the extreme inconvenience of a cable. I can take this around my property and use it at will. It works so well I haven’t replaced my dead plug-in grinder since I purchased this over a year ago. It is durable, dropped on concrete at hip level a couple of times and this thing barely shows signs of such abuse (in form or function).A few possible improvements for Makita to consider:Better balance top to bottom (for occasional single handed use)A shorter travel switch paddle (for occasional single handed use)

Great weight, balance and grinding power.

Met every bit of my expectations. Battery (3ah) lasted longer than expected. Tool is kind of heavy, but sure is nice to pick up an angle grinder and not go looking for a place to plug it in. Very pleased with the way it cuts angle iron.

A present for our mechanically minded son. He loves it! He uses it to remove rust to do body work, etc. Improved Makita battery life allows longer working time. Very rugged, so far. Most of our wireless Makita tools have lasted 10+ yrs! Expect this will do the same.

GA407D同等品と書いてありますが、GA508Dじゃないでしょうか。箱開けて、軸の径の大きさにびっくりしました。砥石100mm入りません。これは完全に125mmディスクグラインダーでした。本体には型式番号が110とか書いてあります。会社では100mmをよく使うだけに、急遽125mmの砥石を買いにいくはめになりました。カバーを付けた状態で切断砥石は取付できますが、研削砥石は厚みのせいでカバーが邪魔になり砥石を取付できません。結局、カバーの丸みのかかった部分を切って使用することになりました。若干カバーも削りながら使用してます。なので星一つ減点としました。追記：海外サイトでDGA455という型式と同じ製品だと判りました。110mmディスクグラインダーみたいですね。110mmの砥石どこにも見当たらないので同じ穴径22mmの外形125mmの砥石使用するしかありません。負荷がかかりすぎてモーターが無理しなければいいのですが・・・正直、不安です。

使い勝手に違和感はありません、手を離すとすぐとまるというのもいいんじゃないでしょうか、スイッチ部分も今のところ不具合はありません、パワーもあって重さも気になりません、ただ替え刃の穴の軸径が少し日本国内製規格の物より太いので国内でふつうに売っている替え刃では少しのところで入りません、なので私は電動ドリルで替え刃の穴を少し広げて使っています、だから評価は星４つです。
