We have a 75lb Staffy that is good on leash with me but rips my spouse around like crazy. The very first time they used this leash with him- best behavior. Walking him because so much easier for them. It's very short but perfect for training purposes. Don't buy this if you don't want your dog walking too closely to you I guess lol just know it's as short as listed and get a measuring tape to understand the reality of that in regards to walking your dog. The quality is great too. We had to upgrade to this because out last "durable" leash role at the metal clip. That isn't even a concern of mine now since he doesn't pull on this one at all. It's also more comfortable for him in my opinion. Even though it's shorter, there's no jerking from him pulling suddenly or abruptly. He starts to but the bungee aspect gently redirects him. Amazing value for the money.

It's a good leash. I like it and I'm using it with my GSD. The bungee is ok, not 100% sold on it, it will take some getting use to, the close handle for close grabbing helps the dog stay close I like that about it, it's the main reason I got it. The metal clasp is nice and well built. And it's no easier to use then normal dog leash clasp hits y I took away one star. I don't care for the acting of it. But that's just my opinion. All in all this will be the main leash for my dog and it's worth the money u pay for it. As far as what type of dog this leash is made for. I'd say any dog over 25lb and up it should hold any large dog. Can't see a dog breaking it. But if u own a monster dog I'd clasp your newly purchased leash to something solid and pull against it with all your mite. If u can't break it snatching on it then I doubt your dog will. Also teaching your dog not to pull will also help.

This leash is very well-made, lightweight, strong, and has good rebound capability. The length is also perfect. When the dog pulls suddenly, the bungee absorbs the shock but also recoils him back to me which for me is an essential feature. I like a short bungee leash for running and also for walking so I don't trip over as I am a short person. I recently suffered a disc injury and I am no longer as resilient to sudden tugs or sustained pulling by my strong dog. Other leashes I have tried have been too long or have heavy hardware on one side of the leash that weigh me down asymmetrically and cause painful musculoskeletal imbalances. For this leash, I use it hand-held or hands-free. I am able to loop the handle onto my no-bounce running waist pouch and move the leash onto either side of my waist easily, this has helped balance the weight out on both sides of my hips. I appreciate having my dog close to me while allowing for some flexibility and shock absorption. The traffic lead is a wonderful bonus, and quick to access in a jiffy. This leash is excellent if you have a strong dog that likes to pull a little. My 80 pound BMD doesn't pull too bad, but the occasional scent will cause her to dart and pluck. It makes it much easier on your arm for when this happens. I really like the close hold handle, especially when there's another dog or person approaching. The hatch that hooks on to the harness is very well made along with the excellent quality that the entire leash is made of. I haven't had it for long but wish I had bought it when I got my dog. I got the ranger green which looks awesome, and the tactical vest to match which is another great product. They make a must have combination.

I have a Saint Bernard that pulls when he’s excited. This definitely made life easier for both of us.
