30-Pin-to-USB Power Supply Cable for GoPro HERO3+ and HERO4 Cameras

Works well and does what it's supposed to do. I can power my GoPro all day long on my motorcycle. With the Andoer skeleton backdoor I can protect the camera and minimize the danger of water entering the case while still having the camera powered directly from the bike without fear the power plug will work loose from vibration.

This cable causes my HERO 3+ to not recognize the SD card for some reason. When I power up with the cable plugged in, I get this: NO SD. Anyone else have this issue?

Do not waste money buying this!Buy another brand cable!It worked fine until I finished using it after 4 or 5 hrs of recording with my Hero4 black. When I unplugged the cable from the camera, the plastic cover for the connector going into the camera broke off and 2 out of the 4 wires broke away from their connections.So now I'm in the process of soldering the wires back on and not sure if they're going to the correct connections or if I flipped them...

I use GoPro Hero4 Black for event video recording. Unfortunately out of the box the camera is not particularly suitable for this task. Main culprit is a short battery life - I need at least 2 hours of uninterruptible operation. Here is why you would want to pay $20 for this cable instead of using the miniUSB charge cable you already have..... When fully charged the camera will stop drawing power from the power supply. If an external battery is used this will force the external battery to electronically disconnect. Hence miniUSB charge cable is not good enough. This one is still too expensive though.
