I was pressed for time and I was hosting two back to back dinner parties. I needed something elegant yet practical to place my utensils and napkins in. I purchased this caddy and another chrome one (without napkin holder) because I couldn't decide which I liked better. One look at this caddy and I knew this would be my go to caddy for all parties. It is elegant yet simple. It will go with any decor. The chrome finish is elegant and the handles serve their purpose without being bulky. The base is solid so no worrying about utensils slipping through slots or holes. It arrived in perfect condition and I have not had any problems with it. I use it to place spoons, salad forks, dinner forks and butter knives along with cocktail or dinner napkins. This was important because I often use both sizes of napkins. Many napkin holders have an open base and the smaller napkins slip through - this was not a problem with this caddy. I was able to get all my essential utensils in one convenient place and it paired beautifully on my buffet server with my new white Gibson dishes (purchased at Walmart). Note: I have not put this in the dishwasher, nor would I regardless of what the instructions may or may not say. I didn't bother to look cause I wouldn't do it anyway. Items such as these need to be cared for if you want them to last- at the time of this writing it is selling for 16.99 .. so in these cases I don't expect an item to be bulletproof. I expect that I will need to give it special care in order for it to keep looking like it did when it arrived. I don't use this on a daily basis - it is strictly for the occasional dinner party so I think it is a great value and I expect it to last for a long time with continued care. Perhaps someone who plans to use it daily may have different expectations (more exposure to the elements - water, heat etc) but for me that is not an issue, so I am VERY happy.

First and foremost, the product was packed well and arrived on time. I purchased this caddy to be a smaller replacement to a larger one that ate up too much counter space. The pretty raindrop texture is on the outside so it won’t be damaged when inserting silverware inside. The partitions are big enough to hold all the pieces of a service for 12 with a some room left for serving pieces. I put the small spoons and forks together in one middle section, the dinner forks in the other and they’re flanked by dinner knives and spoons on each end with serving pieces tucked behind them. The napkin section on the back will hold more than enough for several to many meals depending on how many you go through during each meal. The silver bottom is not shiny but is a brushed metal look. It’s also not padded, and I don’t believe you could add it due to how it’s made, but it has a smooth curved edge with no sharp points anywhere so scratching of tabletop or countertop should not be an issue. Overall, I’m pleased with the caddy for its pretty appearance even on the table, light weight, and storage capacity. Some of the department stores carry glassware with the same raindrop texture if you’d like to match it with other tableware. I do not recommend putting it in the dishwasher. The heat could cause the glue holding the two sections together to turn loose not to mention water spots would be difficult to clean out of the smaller sections and water, period, would be hard to get out of the air space between the top and bottom pieces.

Perfect for storing my plastic utensils so I can get what I need quickly

This is a nice-looking utensil holder. Four sections allow me to double up on forks. I keep it stocked for spontaneous events. Another reviewer mentioned that it’s best to put the handles pointing up. This caddy is clear enough that I can do that and still tell the spoons from the others.

Worked out great for my daughter’s graduation party and looks much better than just using cups like we’ve done for years at picnics. It’ll get a ton of use. It’s well made and matches any and all party themes or home decor.

Bought it for use in my kitchen - but found a better use in my classroom. Holds pens, markers, pencils, scissors, and note pads and looks so clean and cute!

Nice and sturdy

I bought two for our church luncheons and they looked so much better than what we'd had before :-) Very classy and elevates your serving area.

Great quality and love that it has 4 compartments for cutlery plus a section for serviettes.

We use this caddy at our office when we order in lunch. It holds enough cutlery and napkins for all our team and looks somewhat fancy if we have outside guests. Would highly recommend this product.

I have bought 2 of these now. They work well with cutlery and small kitchen utensils while being tall enough to keep ladles upright. They are sturdy and cope well with normal kitchen use.
