Much more rugged than a neoprene sock. It is non adjustable meaning it probably fits loosely on your shifter. Zip ties fixed this for me. Kinda annoying but whatevs, not the travesty some reviewers make it out to be.

Although this item is very nice looking, constructed well and a beautiful piece, it doesn’t fit anything!It’s wayyyy too big.Tried it on the Duc, the Triumph, the Harley and the Suzuki and it’s just too big. Maybe I will deconstruct and adjust, but unfortunately just not worth the money for something that doesn’t fit.

Its not made t fit my Harley or my crotch rocket. I saw pictures in reviews where it was stuffed with stuff to hold it in place.....may have to do that for HarleyI put it on crotch rocket and tried pulling it off without unsnapping, in a cockeyed position it seemed kinda tight, haven't tested it yet.Don't think it was designed to fit anything, they just took the basic shape and sell it.

This cover works exactly as expected. It is very high quality and I expect that it will last a long time. I use this on a Harley Dyna Wide Glide. As mentioned in other reviews, it does tend to shift over to the right, exposing part of the rubber peg. However, this is easily fixed by taping a short length of fuel/oil line to the left side of the shifter arm (I used 3/8” and it worked perfectly).

As a one size fits all kinda deal it's not bad. It fit on my scout bobber, but barely. The foot bar portion of covering the shifter is kinda short. Haven't gotten a chance to try it with my other boots to see if it'll protect it from the rubber well enough yet. Like hide and drink products overall. They make sturdy thick leather products.

Fits my 2016 softail heritage with stock shifter. Gave 4 stars only because it fits loose around the shifter arm but does fit snug enough around the rubber peg so hopefully it won't move out of place.

I loved the quality and style of this, until I tried to put it on my bikes. It's to big and loose on every bike I have. It would slide off, slide down, flop around, and just poorly fit. It only works with oversized large shaft shifters, that are straight with a 90 degree bend. If your shifter (or brake) Kas any curves or is stock size, it won't work.

The quality of the product is great - but the shifter does not fit my Kawasaki Ninja 400. I think If I stick some padding behind it via cotton balls or something it might stay put, but there is a LOT of free play. This product would probably benefit more from using velcro or something, or give dimensions or of what bikes it might fit.I can fit about 2 fingers in while my shifter is in the cover - that's an absurd amount of space. Not to mention, it's not tight enough on the long neck of the shift lever so it slides off towards the inside and leaves the shift lever exposed again - which defeats the purpose of this product.
