It was nice and noisy. But you get used to it and don't feel much noise when party starts, your guests arrive and kids talking and screaming around loud lol. The cleaning was hard part for me coz the bottom tray was not removable and top part still had some chocolate left inside after washing in dishwasher. Found a chocolate mark on my light colour curtain. Don't wanted to go through this again so I refunded it. It's good as long as you don't own it.Over all product is good. I bought Sephra 907g Belgian fondue chocolate for fountains. It made perfect flow. Bottom tray was enough to melt the smooth Belgian chocolate. Just pour it in small portions slowly. It was enough for 8 people with lots of verity like fruits and other stuff. Can keep it on for several hours. Lots of chocolate was still left. I recommend to use it quickly as can as it was used with other food and fruits so saving it for later in fridge is not a good idea.

I can only concur with all the other 4* and 5* comments in that it does it's job really well and has been a great success with all the family, these being mostly adults, it's not just the kids that love it.I would have given a 5* rating but when the first one arrive the spindle was bent/warped and therefore the fountain would not work without making a loud grating sound and therefore had to be returned. I wish I could have contacted the manufacturer direct so that a replacement spindle simply be sent but had to send the complete fountain back via Amazon. Anyway I gave the benefit of doubt and ordered another fountain and this time it worked perfectly, so suggest that before unpacking everything check the spindle for alignment, i.e. make sure it's straight.

I was very excited at the prospect of owning chocolate fountain and after reading reviews for various ones settled on this one . To my dismay however when I tried to set up the fountain the spiral auger screw ( i think that's what it's called) would not click into the base which meant when I switched the fountain on the spiral clattered against the outer tubing through which the chocolate goes up and made a very loud clanging noise I felt that the wrong spiral had been included in the box so I returned and ordered another one but alas the same problem - obviously a manufacturing problem and possibly a whole batch of them - I'm sure if the screw had clicked into place everything would have been fine. I' m just glad I ordered a few days before my party so could test it out. Ended up buying a cook works one from Argos which was brilliant.Amazon were amazing with their service and returns both times.

I purchased this for my daughters eight birthday party, and it went down a treat, I had very happy chocolate covered kids! The fountain was the centre of attention for the children, and all the goodies to dip in. I purchased chocolate fountain prepared chocolate and it was very easy to use, worked beautifully, and the belgium chocolate was gorgeous. Excellent value for money. Although you cannot wash the bowl I found it amazingly quite easy to clean with a wet/warm cloth. Mind you there was not that much chocolate left to clean out!! Very happy customer, would recommend this product to anyone.

Arrived new, the fountain is stainless steel, except for plastic rotor inside the pedestal. It is easy to assemble and wash. We purchased it with 3 bags of Finest Belgian Milk Chocolate 900g. Didn't bother with microwaving the chocolate, just loaded half of the bag into the fountain and turned on the heating mode. Chocolate was melted in around 20 min (we had to mix it to make sure there are no solid bits). Kids and adults were very pleased.

I hummed and hawed over which fountain to buy for my 5 year olds party, and this is the one I chose. It was perfect, really good, ran for 4 hours without issues. I then used it at our grown up Christmas party, just as popular with the grown ups, as with the kids. Had no issues at all. I would totally recommend this item.By the way - washing it straight away is MUCH easier than washing it once the chocolate has hardened!

Had this out twice over Christmas and it was a fun all the way. Don't moan about cleaning it because it is messy, but worth it. Only criticism was that chocolate did not flow evenly, despite buying chocolate designed for fountains and following instructions to the letter.

Bought this for my girlfriends 18th, everyone loved it and it's a great little fountain. A bit smaller than I expected but the chocolate was delicious and it's a fantastic little runner. Have to say leave an hour or so to clean it out though.
