I don't often write reviews but after reading all the bad reviews and almost not buying this, I felt the need to give a review. First for the cheap price, you can't expect miracles! Someone said it was a cheap piece of plastic, well yes it is but the key word is cheap. I found that with using some Goof Off spray, I was able to get most everything off that I wanted off of things after my husband painted our first floor. All paint in the noncarpet floors came right off without any spray added. Then I used it on my windows. My windows have not been painted since I bought the house 10 years ago and probably since the 70s given the colors of paint used throughout the living room and kitchen. The windows had all kinds of stickey tape/glue on them. Some was from AC units that we installed in the past, old window alarms, and others maybe from decorations during the holidays. (Not sure that would be my guess of why there was tape everywhere.) With the Good Off, lots of scrapping, and a couple of hours, I got the windows to look brand new. The sides had been covered by curtains which I got rid of. We are going shades only so you can now see all the plastic frames that had left over glue crap everywhere. I also used it on some small spots of paint on my wood furniture which my husband obviously didn't cover enough. I had tried to scrap the windows in the past with a razor knife but was taking off small layers of the platic and scratching them. So overall this is a good cheap product. I am sure if you don't put the blade on correctly or bend it the wrong way, it could break. Even though it is just a cheap piece of plastic, it will get the job done without scratching windows or damaging anything else.

Used this to remove decals from windows that have been there for 8 years. Worked well. Combined with glass cleaner to get all of the glue residue off. Perfect for what I needed.

Plastic razor blades? I just know that a real razor blade would be a quick job. I was disappointed that it is all plastic. But it’s good to take off car stickers without damaging the paint. For lasting glue off your car, “Goo Be Gone” is the best for stubborn glue on your vehicle.

A few weeks ago I bought another retractable scraper for ordinary single-edge blades. It was great for the purpose. It came with some plastic blades that I ha never seen before, and did not work well with this scraper. But I learned that the plastic blades had a definite place. This new scraper is perfect for the plastic blades. I find myself using it everyplace. For example, I have a bunch of rare earth magnets that I store on the door of a metal cabinet. I used to scrape them loose with my metal swiss army knife. But it would stick to the assembled magnets. The plastic scraper loosens them perfectly and is unaffected by the scattered magnets. Lately I have been buying Sharpie Gel pens. They come with wax on the tips that must be removed. I suppose I could remove it with my fingernails if they weren't so old. The plastic scraper ism much easier for me. Altogether, I find the plastic scraper so convenient that I just ordered a few others.

I WISH I WOULD HAVE TAKE BEFORE AND AFTER PICS of the project I used this on. This is a mighty little gadget to have on hand. I have a faux wood set of drawers that had 3 years of old, sticky packaging tape residue on them. I put a little bit of Goo Gone on, gave it a five minute resting period and dug in with this. My low expectations were blasted away in seconds when the adhesive, dirt and hair scraped away without a drop of sweat! I also use it to cut tape off of boxes. INCREDIBLE QUALITY with extra blades included. Excellent value. (I'd pay 3 x's the price knowing how awesome this works!) Hurry and put it in your cart!

It's a great product, depending on what you're using it for. I was scraping the protective film off my truck just to the rear of the back doors. On the positive side, it left no scratches on the paint. On the negative side, the part that holds the plastic blade broke after the first hour of use. I ended up using a regular scraper with these plastic blades. I had to be super careful, but I made it work. The blades were very sturdy and I still have many left.

easy to use! smaller than i imagined, but it works well to remove the price stickers of books! i like when i’m able to roll the stickers off. i got lucky with the removal in the video because there’s barely any sticker residue, however on the other books i removed stickers from, there was some sticker residue. i heard some popping, so i think the blade might break from too much use or pressure but overall, this plastic razor blade works great, has replacement blades, and bright color so hopefully you won’t lose it!
