Orbit 58995 7-Pattern Thumb Control D-Grip Contractor Turret Watering Wand, 14"

We've had water wands that are quite a bit longer, too long, this one feels just right. Like all the other water wands that we have had in the past, I plan on bringing this one indoors for the winter. Freezing water is the worst thing for these guys.

This wand has easy to dial functions and the pressure control is equally well designed and works with ease. However I miss my favourite function, the SOAKER option - that is why I gave it only 4 stars - which distributes water much better at the base of each plant, soaking it. The shower option is o.k. but it does not do the same trick as the soaker option. The good thing is that I can control the flow of water with the dial. Also the wand could have been 2 inches longer in order to reach hanging planters.

this is a great wand, thumb control rolls a cylinder that regulates how strong the flow is, and you can do everything from shower for seeds to single stream for the neighbours cat. we love it. sturdy, well made, doesn't leak even when turned off and hose on full pressure... and the colour, well I feel like a firefighter using it LOL>.....

Felt like a decent unit when I first opened it and began to use it. Shortly after starting to use it I began to get a drip from the nozzle head when using 2 of the different patterns. The shower pattern also began having a couple misplaced streams that shot far left and far right. Okay, I can live with this I thought.Until I went to turn the head to switch patterns after about 10 total uses and the entire head fell off and all of the cheap plastic used for the interior fittings had shattered.Looks good when you get it, but don't expect it to last.I hope the seller reaches out to me to resolve this as I don't feel with the minimal use my product had it should already be useless and in pieces.Spend a little more money and buy a quality unit like a DRAMM.

Bought two on June 30 2021. This spring one was inoperable after sitting indoors for the whole winter. Thinking it was my fault I ordered another one. Then the second one from last year failed. So far this years version has been used twice. Had I known about extremely poor quality. I would not have ordered another.
