I wanted to get something til help my kids see the details of some of the items around the home, from leaves, pine needles, fabrics, etc. This microscope is easy to use. All you need to do is hook it up to your laptop or computer and there it is. Not compatible with mac systems. Super easy to use. The camera goes from 50x to 500x. Can see the small details on items around the house. There is 8 led lights in the camera as well so you dont have to worry about the shadows getting in the way. The focus wheel makes it easy to adjust the sizing you are wanting to see and notice.

This item come with directions that are completely inaccurate. They direct you to install software that doesnt exist. I downloaded the available software and the program brings up my main camera and there was no way to change it. When I reset the computer, the camera connection to the computer cycles connected/disconnected. worked with it for 30 minutes. They have a facebook page but they dont respond to people's comments. they also have bad reviews for lack of customer support. Will be returning for full refund.

Instructions say see printed word. ??? Finally found instructions on wwweb. Hardly used by now.

Great for looking at coins. The software has room for improvement, it's not compatible with other software that would provide better pictures. The photographs that are captured are grainy which is a problem when submitting coins via photo to numismatists, as many services have a few per submission. Otherwise a great product, definitely worth the cost!

I use mine with a tripod and mounted on a piece of wood to get to the spots I need it. Works great for me.

My grandkids had a blast with this. It hooks to the PC, not the phone.

I was excited and started putting it together, sad to say a defective part on manufacturer stopped me from going any further. Kinna disappointed...had to return and bought something else.

Really good for the price. I wish higher resolution was available in a lower price range. The side buttons don't actually function. The software is out of date, so the DEPSTECH website doesn't have the recommended camera driver
