They are a good quality scissor and the blade is shape BUT there is something wonky about the angle of the blades that is not quite right and makes it less than optimal.

I purchased these beautifully made scissors (Pakistan), in an attempt to enlarge a medical grade, adhesive vinyl ostomy wafer. They were good and sharp but I had trouble making an "inside-out", "perfectly" round circle of 3/4" diameter. This was too small a hole for me to obtain given the length of the scissor blades themselves. They were too long for me to stay in a tight circle accurately. Still a GOOD value and a nice, polished, clean assembly. I'll bet they last virtually forever. Will keep them for any arts & crafts work involving circular cuts.

When I removed the packaging, the edges of the scissors were so filthy - covered it brown dirt, I had to use an alcohol wipe to clean it thoroughly.

Even though these are used and marketed as ostomy shears, I love to utilize them for wound vacs. They work great for cutting the vac drape with the way I predrape my patients. I will definitely by purchasing more for back up just in case.

I did buy them bc they were cheap. I got what I bought. They stick and are out of alignment making them hard to control and worse than a child’s safety scissors. With no return, be smarter than I was. Spend the extra 3 bucks for the Premium Ostomy scissors for $9.99.
