The Perfect Keyboard Case (minus one issue) ONE MONTH UPDATE
****This is an edit to my initial review.I am writing this edit on 01-27-2020, after having the Keyboard case for a little over a month. I must say, the battery is phenomenal. I use the keyboard pretty often and I still haven't had to charge it. Battery percentage shows 54%. Just WOW. The only problem I am now having is with the Apple Pencil holder. The tight grip it first had on the pencil has worn away completely and now the actual fabric the holder is made of has started to rip. Very disappointed in the holder design. The Keyboard is such an amazing product but that one problem is a huge negative for me. I deducted one star from my initial review just for the clear design flaw.If you are looking for the perfect keyboard case for your iPad Pro 10.5, look no further, you have found it! I have tried several keyboard cases, including the Yekbee keyboard case which is the exact same design as this one and is going for $64.99 on Amazon, and let me just say, it does not compare to this case, not even slightly, nor do the other cases I’ve tried.PROS ABOUT THIS KEYBOARD CASE:1. DESIGN. LOVE the fact that you can turn the iPad in a 360 degree rotation and flip it all the way down to use in tablet mode.2. QUALITY. This case does not feel cheap. It is very sturdy and feels like it was made with quality materials.3. KEYBOARD. The travel on the keyboard feels good and the keys are very responsive. The keys also have a good quality feel to them, they don’t feel cheaply made.4. COLOR. I wanted a Rose Gold color case but was concerned that it might look a little childish. I was wrong! The color is beautiful and looks very classy. It’s kind of like a metallic light pink and I am really liking it.5. BATTERY. With backlight on, and a couple of hours typing a day, it has lasted about 3 days so far. It seems the battery lasts a good while.6. AUTO SLEEP/WAKE FEATURE. This one is huge. The other case I got from Yekbee did NOT auto sleep/wake the iPad. I had to manually press the sleep button on the iPad every time I closed the case to conserve my device’s battery. This keyboard case HAS that function. Every time I close the case, my iPad (and the keyboard case it seems), goes to sleep. Every time I open the case, my iPad wakes up and sometimes the case does too, depending on how long it’s been asleep. This is a very simple feature that makes the iPad truly like a real laptop.7.**** APPLE PENCIL HOLDER. It’s great that this case has a built-in pencil holder; the holder is very tight so I am never worried about my Apple Pencil falling out or even slipping slightly. This was a problem I had experienced with the Yekbee case I tried. ****SEE EDIT ABOVE8. RGB LIGHTING. The keyboard backlight is very cool. It has 3 different brightness levels as well as an off mode and 7 different colors. All backlighted colors look very nice and high quality.9. RGB MEMORY. If I choose the pink RGB lighting at level 1 brightness then close the case, the keyboard will remember that and the next time I open it, it will be that same color at that same brightness level again. This was a gripe I had with the Yekbee case; it was very frustrating to lose the color and brightness I had just chosen and I would have to cycle through the colors and levels all over again just to get back to the one I wanted.10. REASONABLY THIN AND LIGHTWEIGHT. Given what the product is, you of course expect a little more bulk and a little more weight. The case does a good job of keeping both to a minimum all while maintaining its functionality.11. NO ACCIDENTAL IPAD LOCK. The key on the top-right of the keyboard, right above the delete key, does not result in accidental locks of the iPad when trying to delete. Every keyboard case I’ve ever had has had that key in the same place, where you can lock your iPad easily with the touch of that key. The problem always was, I would constantly lock the iPad by accident because it’s too easy to hit when trying to press the delete key. This case requires you to hold the function (Fn) button before the lock key will respond. This is SUCH a great idea and makes typing so much more enjoyable when I don’t have to worry about accidentally locking my iPad.12. POSSIBLE BATTERY LEVEL CHECK. Currently, there is no way to check the remaining battery of the case USING the case. No indicator light with the amount of battery that’s left, no shortcut to toggle battery percentage. It just says in the instruction booklet that once the battery LED turns red, it’s time to charge it. I like to know what my device’s batteries are before they get that low. It does show a percentage under “Batteries” on the iPad (same place that shows the Apple Pencil battery) but I’m not sure if that’s accurate. If it IS accurate, then that is awesome and is definitely a bonus of this case. If it’s not accurate, then checking the battery level of the case is definitely an improvement that should be implemented. The only reason I’m unsure if that percentage shown on the iPad is correct is because the Yekbee case would show a percentage there as well but would constantly change. Most of the time it would be 0% (even though it was fully charged) and then it would randomly jump up to 75% or 90% and back down to 40% - it was clear that you could not trust the percentage shown with that case. But with this case, the percentage does seem to be moving in a natural, slow, downward direction and is not acting sporadic like with the Yekbee case so hopefully it is an exact indicator of this case’s battery remaining. Fingers crossed!CONS:There really are none. I can’t think of a single one. Maybe the only improvement I would like to see is the option to keep the backlight on for as long as I want. Currently, the light does turn off automatically if left untouched for about 35 seconds. That’s still a pretty long time and it only takes one press of a key to turn it back on but still, it would be nice to have the option to keep it on all the time.I wrote this review with the keyboard case and I could not be happier with it. I’d recommend this to anyone looking for the perfect case for their iPad 10.5. Its quality, functionality and price beat any of the competitors. Give this a shot, you won’t regret it.

3 of these Verses 1 Apple Smart Folio Keyboard!!!!!!!
I’ve been using this with my 2019 iPad AIr for 3 weeks.. No Problems or issues.. This has every feature that the Apple Smart Folio Keyboard/Case has.. Paid $47 for this verses $159 for the Apple Smart Folio.. Meaning I can go through 3 of these before I’d have spent what The Apple Smart Folio costs.. Like II said, It has ALL The FEATURES of the Apple Smart Folio.. Check it out yourself. It’s not Rocket Science to realize if you own a 2019 Air or a 11 inch iPad Pro are thinking about getting a Keyboard/Case you first give this a TRY.. If your dissatisfied, Amazon has a Fantastic Return Policy (espeically If your a Prime Member), which I’ve been for years.. Over the years I’ve returned more than 100 items, 98% of them returns I was provided a Free Return Shipping Label.. This case is not made of any Aluminum, but there’s no reason it should be... I really suggest you give this, (or one just like it a try), before buying the Apple Smart Folio...

Very Disappointing
I brought this keyboard based of the number of positive reviews but I was extremely disappointed: the keyboard did not hold a charge for long and typing on the keyboard was nearly impossible. you had to hit many of the keys numerous times to get them to type in the letters. Very frustrating. I returned the product.Follow-up (12/16/19): after i wrote my original review, I received an email from the company that was very apologetic and the company put $10.00 in my account as a goodwill gesture. What I did not like, however, was the company asking me to change my rating to 5 stars. I increased the rating to 3 stars because of the good customer service but the product was defective and does not deserve 5 stars from me.

Best of its type available.
I’ve been looking for a typewriter case for my 10.5” iPad Pro that is like the one piece Logitech keyboard case for the iPad Air. Unfortunately, Apple designed a case with Logitech for the first iPad Pro that was a clunky, heavy two piece case that I and many others hated. I have been through many cases trying to find the right one. This is the best case by far, and better than others that say they have the same features. While it is not as light as I would like, it is lighter than it’s competitors. It is tough and resilient. The case stays charged. The keyboard has an okay touch. I like backlit keyboard. It’s great when I wake up in the middle of a night and want to capture a thought.

I had difficulty connecting it to my IPad Air 3rd gen.
When the case/keyboard arrived I ensured I charged it prior to connecting as I had read per other reviews and instructions that was necessary. It didn’t connect for over an hour of attempting to. I rebooted my IPad Air3rd gen 3-4 times and it finally connected. Moving forward I have to reboot my IPad Air to get it to connect. I like the layout / look/ feel of the keyboard, I cannot get it to change the backlit colors as per instructions. I very much wanted to like this keyboard/case but I rarely use it as it requires a reboot and is inconvenient to get it to connect and without using the keyboard it IS heavy. For fairness I cant blame the keyboard as it may be my (brand new) IPad, but my gut says it’s the keyboard. I’m going to buy another case. I hope you have better luck than I did.

I won’t buy from ILEBYGO again, device is cheaply made and the warranty is only worth $5.
I have had my iPad Pro for over two years this was my 2nd keyboard. The first one lasted a few month short of two years, it was sturdy and the keys matched the case. It looked classy. So when the keyboard needed replacing I was okay with buying a new one, only the one I bought last time was no longer available. I found this one, I was not thrilled about the raised white keys but it had all the other features, it had a 1 year warranty the price seemed reasonable. Except the case was less sturdy and the little “feet” were stick ons and kept falling off. All manageable let downs but less than 3 months one of the keys intermittently stopped working then about a month ago another key intermittently stopped working. When I reached out to the seller regarding the warranty they offered me $5. ILEBYGO apparently did not think the keyboard was what they’d charged.

CAUTION
Host of issues with this order.- Highly likely that I received a used product. It has scratches and marks that occur with use- Multiple sticky keys- You need to be very careful when closing the case as there isn't enough protection there. Ex. When we shut our laptops, at times maybe too hard, we can be sure that it won't damage the laptop. With this case it's possible doing so may scratch the screen or worse.- While typing, the iPad part of the case shakes a lot and sometimes falls flat- I've tried multiple times to get in touch with the seller through Amazon and the email address provided in the package but it's been dead silenceConclusion, I shouldn't have bought to this case. At this price range there are other options available.
