2008 Honda 2.4 VTEC P2646 code FIX ??
Had Honda Element 2.4 VTEC code P2646, (Newly purchased). I added Sea Foam and a quart of TRANSMISSION fluid to engine oil, ran for a few days, did oil and filter change, using Purolator One filter and Valvoline 5w30 Restore and Protect. Changed original oil pressure sender/switch (not VTEC pressure switch) with this Beck/Arnley one with oil filter off from beneath vehicle (on ramps). It's been over a week and NO VTEC code.

Junk! Failed in a big way ( diaphragm rupture resulting in substantial rate of oil loss) in less than 18 months. Would do in a pinch until you can secure the oem sensor.

Perfect Fit for 2003 Honda Element.
Perfect fit for 2003 Honda Element. Remember to use 26mm socket and use thread sealing tape. Torque to 13 lbs. OEM oil pressure switch uses 24mm socket.

You need a 26mm deep socket
I am sure it will work just fine, however there is some difference between the factory one and this aftermarket parts,the factory switch is 24mm hex so I have the right tool to easily removed, this Beck Arnley has a 26mm hex, 26mm socket is skipped in many socket sets and not readily available locally, unless you buy the big tool set that cost too much for occasional home DIY mechanic, plus due to the large Hex size, the factory protective rubber boot won't fit, buyer be aware, prepare a 26mm socket prior buying this oil pressure switch.

Perfect Fit
This part fit my ‘03 Honda CRV perfectly. I installed it 6+ months ago and I have had no issues. The check engine light was on for the VTEC solenoid, but this is actually all that I needed. The local part store didn't have this available. Glad I was able to find it on Amazon.

So far this replaced my OEM Honda switch perfectly
My old original OEM Honda switch was seeping oil around the front where the plastic meets the metal at the crimp and seemed to be leaking for years. This has been on the Honda for a while now and it’s doing great with no leaks and it is reading the correct oil pressure. Save me a lot of money by getting this aftermarket part OEM at the dealer and it does the same thing.
