May not be the same bat as shown on picture.
The bat that I received was not same bat that's in the picture and not even close to what it says the description. The stickers were of different colors. I didn't care about the stickers being different, but when you pay $300 for a bat, it should be a nice bat meaning at least 8 grains. My bat only had 6-7 grains. The grains were also not straight. The bat should have been priced around $100 or less. It felt like a 4 grade willow. I think they sent the wrong product. Look in the picture the bat shows many grains but not the bat that I received

Good bat....
Good bat... oiled it for 2 weeks about 3 4 tea spoons total and then knocked it for 2 weeks... and ready to go....has a nice sweet spot.... and like most of the bats the upper and lower parts are dead....didnt crack while knocking which was good.... the price is a bit on a higher side thoguh for the quality...liked it though.... scored a few runs with it in the league already.....

Excellent performer ...
If you are a person who likes to stand rooted to the crease and whack the ball, then this is the bat for you. This bat has a very wide sweet spot and nicely balanced pick up. It feels like exactly like the weight specified. You get a bottom heavy feeling when you slog with this bat, but you won't feel that way when you are driving the ball on front foot or back foot. May be its just the way i feel. Overall the performance of this bat is excellent. The bat which i received had about 6 evenly spaced straight grains. There was one blemish on the blade but it was at the bottom right corner and has no impact on performance. The willow is super soft and if you bounce an old cricket ball, you will easily see nice seam marks on the blade. The toe part needs special attention but overall the entire blade needs to be well pressed before game play. This is not a ready to play bat.Minor chips and cracks tend to appear of the edges since the willow is very soft pressed. I would recommend adding a scuff sheet after the knocking process is complete. If you are person who does like play without any scuff sheet, then just install fiber glass tape for the edges alone. Once you have played with it for a while then you can remove the edge tape as well.
