Works Great
I bought this evaporator fan with the intention of replacing it myself. I opened up the back of the freezer and saw that the existing fan was still working. Called a repairman, who told me that the fan was not spinning fast enough. Lesson learned. The repairman replaced the fan with this new one. Works great. Solved my problem on my GE refrigerator GTS22KBPDRBB, which was that the freezer temperature was ok but the refrigerator temperature wouldn’t go below 50F. Also, the existing fan was occasionally making some noise. Hope this helps.

What a relief!!
I had an incredibly noisy GE fridge, the noise coming out of the freezer could be heard all over the house whenever it was running. We were thinking we were going to have to get a new fridge. Fortunately, I found some good information on the internet on what might be wrong. I narrowed it down to this part and/or the grommets that hold it in place. Saw video on Youtube on how to repair it. Bought the evaporator fan motor and the grommets. Replacing it took under an hour. I spent more time emptying the freezer and cleaning it than it took to replace the part. This part came in an OEM box, the evaporator fan motor is made by Pansonic and feels like a better quality part than the original. Works great!! Saved a ton of money by not calling a repair man in.

Great service, and perfect fix for problem
Ordered this part to replace a noisy OEM fan in a Hotpoint/GE fridge. The OEM was not a GE brand, and looked different, but was the exact same fit.It was easy to install, fit perfectly, and is very nice and quiet.Highly recommend the part and the vendor.

Defrosting again!
My GE top freezer GTS22JBPCRWW friege is once again defrosting perfectly, thanks to replacing the old fan with this one. This model of GE , I've found on repair sites, has a fan that tends to wear out after several years. This is a fairly easy repair if you're at all handy with appliance repairs.FYI, if your fridge (at least this model) is cooling and freezing normally, and the defrost cycle is running normally, but you've got ice building up in the freezer, including frozen droplets of water hanging from the top of the freezer compartment and heavy frost buildup on your frozen stuff - it's probably the freezer fan. The fan is not running fast enough to evaporate the water, which then refreezes. This is a very reasonably priced fix for an expensive fridge.

Saved me over $250
Sears came out and explained this is what I needed for my refrigerator that was not cold enough. They wanted $390 to repair it, with part and labor. I watched an online video on how to do it myself (even though the video was not of my specific refrigerator), and ordered this part. It arrived about 4 days later. When the weekend came, I started the job with a little more confidence than I had previously. Long story short, with the help of my frig parts diagram (copied from the site with the video), and 1/4" nut driver, it took me 45 minutes to fix it myself. It now cools as if brand new!
