Item only just received and not used extensively. However, I do have some first impressions:• Excellent packaging! • Looks and feels high quality. • Excellent instructions. * It was about half charged when it arrived, and completed charging in about 4 hours from home electrical outlet. This leaves me to believe that the advertised charging time (7-9 hours from outlet) from fully discharged is as stated by seller. • I haven't used it to power anything big yet, but it works great for small items So far, I am very impressed.

Got this Suaoki G1000 charger a couple of days ago, along with Suaoki 160W solar panel. Really wanted this to work because I live in California, where our utility company, PG&E, says it will need to cut off power during high winds for the next 10 years. That's a long time to live with uncertainty running basic and necessary appliances.The Suaoki G1000/160W solar panel combo looked like one of the best backup power options currently available. So I invested $1,600+ to get this up and running while the weather is still sunny. Hooked the two units together today, but the G1000 charger showed zero input from the solar panel—nothing even after 2.5 hours of bright early afternoon sun.Very disappointing. I checked the connections, and they seemed okay. Hard to tell exactly because Suaoki did not provide any instruction manual for setting up and connecting the solar panels. Zero. Absolutely no set-up info. That's a major oversight. I then tried charging the G1000 using the mains AC input. It showed the unit charging (about 40%).I went to the Suaoki website to get their customer service/tech support phone number. THEY DO NOT PROVIDE ANY PHONE SUPPORT! You have to email them, and then wait (for days?) to get a reply. Most unacceptable. Since it was my only option, I emailed Suaoki and explained the situation. I will update this review if/when I hear back from them.If I don't get a satisfactory response within 48 hours, both the G1000 charger and 160W solar panel will go right back to Amazon as useless technology.Having reliable electrical power can be a life-or-death issue. If Suaoki provide reliable products (needed in emergencies), and if they can't provide basic customer support, then I will have nothing more to do with this Chinese company. I will alert everyone on Amazon and YouTube to avoid dealing with Suaoki.PS: I was surprised by the weight of the G1000 unit—about 50lbs! That's just borderline "portable." Definitely not something to carry hiking/camping. It's even difficult to move from room to room.

I previously gave a glowing review for the Suaoki G1000 Power Station generator. Unfortunately, my third time using it on the road, the battery seemed to have died and it simply would not power up again. It was a gift, and customer service refused to help without proof of purchase. Gift or not, this is quite an expensive replacement for me. Therefore, I must amend my review from 5 stars to one.

Great product. Great price. Works well, and is super convenient to have around. Now that we have peridodical power outages. We are prepared. Thanks

I am amazed at the quality and compactness of this unit. The manufacture was extremely well made and now have the ability to charge and power my travel appliances allows worry free charging wherever I go. Amazing unit, especially for power outages. I am one happy customer.
