PDP Rock Candy Wii Gesture Controller - Green

I bought these as a set to replace a non OEM extra wii remote that we had that had been dropped to many times. I was pleasantly surprised to find this was a full size remote, and not a mini. The buttons are in a slightly different spot, but this isn't a problem for me. I really like the bright color, it makes it easy to find. It seems to work very well. I took it out of the box and synced it using the red button in the battery case. While the remote lights were flashing, I pressed the red sync button on the front of the wii. Works like a charm. My son (7) also really likes the bright colors and he has no problems using this remote. A good price for a very good non OEM remote.

Love this remote has the same colour as my N64 remote works great with my rechargable batteries i ordered with it at the same time ("Insten Dual Charging Station w/ 2 Rechargeable Batteries & LED Light for Wii")I usually have this remote in a case and it falls from time to time but i havent had any problem with it up until now still works great 5 stars

Tends to be a little lagging from time to time

This remote has been such a disappointment. We bought three of these in different colors for the kids. Within a month one wasn't working at all. The last two burn through batteries so quickly we end up replacing them every time we use it. I even started turning the batteries around when we aren't using it so we don't waste them. These remotes literally use up batteries 4 times faster that real Wii remotes. We have tried it out to see. One child using this remote and the other using a Wii remote. This one was replaced 4 times before we had to replace the Wii ones even once. DO NOT BUY. Not worth the battery expense in the long run. What ever you save with the initial cost you make up for within a week in battery cost.

I bought three of these for my kids for Christmas gifts. Less than a month later, two of them stopped working. They wouldn't power on. Generally this would be a reason to give a 0 star review, but the customer service from PDP has been excellent.1) I didn't realize that these DO NOT come with the Motion Plus Adapter. If you go on the manufacturer's website, they will send you the adapters for free. They came quickly and worked perfectly with the controllers (when they were still working.)2) When the two controllers stopped working, I went back to PDP to request replacements. My issue was addressed promptly and they are sending me two new controllers at no cost - and I do not have to send back the old ones and wait for them to process an exchange.The moral of the story - it seems like there are some lemons out there, but if you get one the replacement process is quick and painless. I probably wouldn't buy them again, but I'm happy that I didn't have to shell out more money right away to buy replacements.

The reason why I bought this Wiimote is cuz my black Wiimote plus refuses too run homebrew apps! It shuts off every time I load one! Getting classic games such Gameboy, Gameboy Color or Gameboy Advance has been in uphill battle a struggle! I'ce been wanting classics for years since I've had my Wii! Now I got the Wii U thanx too my computer expert buddy Jim I got homebrew in Wiimode of my Wii U using the smashstack hack not the twilight hack in case if ur wondering what that is: Before u get homebrew you have to go online with your computer go to Wiibrew.com These different types of hacks start with having either of these 2 games: Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess the Wii version or Super Smash bro's Brawl if your hacking Wii or Wiimode of your Wii U you will want either of these 2 games. So Super Smash bro's Brawl does the smashstackhack obviously and Twilight Princess does the Twilight hack. You can type in these names and Youtubers will give you more precise and legit instruction on how to get homebrew on your game console. So now that my friend was able too do that for me I had too figure out why my Wiimote plus wasn't working so I concluded with that the plus isn't compatible with homebrew apps so I bought a thirdparty unofficial Nintendo Wiimote from Rock Candy Wiimotes! I'm SUPER PROUD OF MYSELF! I DECIDED TOO TEST THE APPS ON IT AND SEE HOW MANY I CAN LOAD WITHOUT THE WIIMOTE SHUTTING DOWN! IT WRRRRRKS!!! SO I'M REALLY HAPPY WITH THIS PRODUCT! THATS WHY I GAVE IT 5 STARS! Now I can play: Nemesis Gameboy, Wolfenstein 3D Gameboy Advanced-pc, Pokemon, Zelda, Super Mario, Space Station Sillicon Valley N64!

It just doesn't work, will not sync with WII. I even tried the suggestions left by others on the review page. It is too bad because the overall look of the controller is great.

I needed to buy a replacement wii-mote and my son loves green so this is what we chose. He is very pleased with it. It works great. I don't think he has abused it much yet...hoping he learned his lesson by having to pay for this one out of his own money after breaking the one I bought for him, lol! I am hopeful it will stand up to what a 5yr old will dish out.

The controller has a great build quality and looks really cool

kids love it, like the different colors.Same like the nintendo wii orginal controll. kids like it. 7, 6 and 5 years old.
