Works very well and is self starting.Does direct heat towards you.Probably better on a narrowboat in smaller space than a normal room size.

I'm not sure if this thing actually helps in distribution of the heat! Been using it for months and can't really feel anything from it, 🙄 hardly worth paying for, for all the benefits you get 😕

Excellent Fan doing what it is designed for, very good warm air movement and silent.

Put it to the position in the info and it started turning straight away and definitely put the heat into the room. Not sure how much it will save as it is first time we have used the stove so have no comparison. All our friends with log burners have one and they rave over them ... Thank you for quick service. Got no idea what sheerness means so cannot score it.

Good quality and definitely a worth while addition to the top of the log burner.Fan is completely silent and seems to distribute the heat across the room well.

I purchased to use with my multi fuel stove to direct more heat into my sitting room from the alcove where stove is located. Was amazed at how quickly the fan blades started to spin when temperature reached approx 80 deg C. Will definitely order a second as can detect the difference the first fan has made and will be even more of a difference with a second. I was pleasantly surprised at how sturdy it is and how stable as my concern was it would be a flimsy product and rattle and wobble about but totally delighted.

Was totally amazed with this little fan!! I was told about them by my brother who said how brilliant they are, it is very sturdy&don’t hear it working at all,quite,weighty,looks very discreet,the heat it generates is amazing as we don’t have the recommended 4” gap at the rear or sides of our burner it sits in front of the chimney, we angle it to door areas to warm other rooms, absolutely brilliant wish I had purchased it before now.

Bought this fan for my stove in the lounge, wow, what a fantastic fan this is, very quiet and distributes the hot air all over the lounge.I have had other fans with four blades and two blades but what a difference the five bladed fan makes, this is also the quietest fan that I’ve owned.All I can say is to anyone who is looking for a great fan for the top of they’re wood burning stove, this is just a brilliant fan, that is how I have given it 5 stars.
