SUPPORT IS SORRY
I have been going back and forth with Kuna tech support for 2 weeks. Everything they have had me to try has not worked. I have 8 Maximus camera around my house. 2 flood lights, 5 camera porch lights and the ring door bell. I am able to do a two way conversation with everything else except for door bell. Why is it taking so long for them to send me a new one. It don't take a rocket scientist to realize if everything is working except for this one thing. IT'S THE DOOR BELL.

The light at the bottom of the camera are the most important to see parcel close up.
I do not get motion detection on my phone when I am away to hear motion detection on my phone I have to be standing (2)ft away from the camera, the upper part of the camera video at night is black and white it would be better if it was colour.

Not Reliable. Often Offline.
Not Reliable. Often Offline. Have four other camera device on the same gig wi-fi network that never go down. The Maximus camera had a very different performance. Tech support was good. But turns out good support was required due to device going offline regularly especially when I was waiting for a package which defeated the purpose of the device. My neighbors had a doorbell camera from a better known brand and never had an outage. I would stay away from this brand.

Far better than my Ring Doorbell
I have had a Ring doorbell for 2 years and for the life of me I cannot understand the hype. It often didn't capture video my other front porch cameras did and it was super slow to access video once I received a notification of activity. If someone rang my doorbell, it would take minutes to be able to see who was at the door. I have a high end wi-fi router with high speed throughput, which can handle 50+ devices, and gigabit internet speed through Comcast, so my connection and speed are not an issue. I purchased and installed the Maximus Answer doorbell and it works flawlessly. Easy to install, great video quality, video display response within seconds and well built. The Ring doorbell is in now in the trash. I do have 7 other Kuna Maximus spotlights and security camera exterior lights. The Maximus Answer doorbell was easy to add to my existing annual subscription plan and great iPhone app. I have been running the Kuna Maximus products on my home since Feb. 2018 and have had zero problems. For anyone looking for discrete security cameras that most people will not notice on your house, the Kuna Maximus products are for you.

Works for about 8 to 10 months maximum
I really liked the idea of "dual cameras" that allows me to see boxes/mail delivered to my porch doorstep - but - the quality of the product does not justify the high price. My first Maximus DualCam doorbell lasted about 8 months and then I purchased a second one (replacement) since I felt that maybe my first one was a fluke/defective with such a short lifespan. Guess what? My second DualCam worked flawlessly at first and then died after 9 months of use. So, my conclusion was to give up on the Maximux DualCam and change over to a Ring single camera doorbell system. So far, the Ring doorbell camera works flawlessly. Do not buy the Maximus DualCam - it won't last 12 months! Waste of money and effort. I got burned on it.

Worked for about a month. We have the doorbell and several light/ cameras. The light/cameras work for about a year then just stop working!!! We were so happy with this company at first but now we have to replace 4 cameras and a doorbell. Wth Do yourself a favor and buy something else.

Simple to install. Need solid wifi. Good pictures.
Easy to set up. 2 cameras work well. Integrates with other cameras that use kuna app. Did not need bypass for existing doorbell replacement.

Great Doorbell at a great price
Great Video Doorbell for the price. I use several Maximus products. They all look great and functionality is as described. Love the additional lower camera. Very easy to install. If you have vinyl siding you will want to get a mounting block for flush install.

keeps syncing out
Easy to install worked for 1 hr then when added my wife it stopped working. We played around with it for 3 days and it is still not working so we thought maybe it is our door bell because it over 30 yrs old. We purchased a new door bell that I have not installed yet. I wanted a maximus because I already have their outside lights which works really well. My wife wanted the nest as we have some google products in the house and they all work really well. Not sure if we need a higher internet service???? Or should of gotten the nest.

To subscribe or not to subscribe?
I was really looking forward to seeing this product blow out the competition. Unfortunately, the Kuna support ruins any chance of that. Be prepared to be cornered into a situation where you have to subscribe to a monthly plan to make functional use of the dual cam doorbell. They have not refined the product software enough, and make excuses for their lack of effort to make what should be a good product made by a good manufacturer the best out there. I spent months with Kuna support convincing them of the various flaws. Without a paid subscription, it will constantly notify you of any and everything that passes by. There is no sensitivity adjustment, and by Kuna’s own admission the “areas of interest” grid selection does not actually work without a paid package. This unit does not have a motion sensor, thus relying purely on the primary camera as a means of notifying you of activity. The built in light is great, but does not turn on when motion is detected, defeating the purpose of the light altogether. The night vision cannot be adjusted and is not available on the secondary camera which limits its use. Motion detection is also not available on the secondary camera another drawback to what is the primary selling point of having two cameras. I sent capture after capture, video clips and countless phone calls only to have Kuna ask me to return it if I don’t like it rather than making an effort to address the deficiencies.I spoke to the manufacturer who does not take calls for this, but somehow got through to someone who followed up with Kuna. I then began getting proper responses but no real solution and more excuses. So much potential yet far from what it could really achieve. I would gladly pay for the subscription if they would just admit their flaws and release an update fixing the things I have mentioned above. Kuna has no interest in making things better, rather is a call center that logs tickets and closes cases before actually addressing the issue.

Después de 3 meses de estar enviando correos con los de soporte de Kuna, terminan por aceptar que el dispositivo está defectuoso pero que, como está instalado en México, pierde la garantía. Así mejor les recomiendo algún otro producto de alguna otra marca respetable.
