Spectre Performance 4348 3" Chrome Fan Shroud

I needed a quick and easy to install fan shroud and this product worked very well. When I first got it I thought it was too wide to attach to the radiator but then I figured out the metal was flexible and how easily it could be bent to shape. Made my engine compartment look better, directed air flow with the fan and provided a safety plus by making it harder to slice a finger off in the spinning fan blades.

I was overheating 240 degrees. I had put a smaller fan on my 200 inline 6 and a triflow radiator. Put the shrowed on and now I have to figure out how to make it hotter.

This is a decent fan shroud for a very cheap price. I think it looks good and will certainly improve cooling by preventing the fan blades pulling air from around the sides rather than through the radiator. Only note I can make is, do yourself a favor and order Derale 13001 plastic rod mounting kit to install instead of the crummy bolts and wing nuts they give you with this. The Derale kit is faster and looks much better too.

Looks great on my 69 C-10 with a custom Jegs Radiator. A little tough to mount with a tranny cooler, but with a little work it fit great.

I swapped a 350 into my S10 truck, had to run both a flex fan and an electric fan. It needed a shroud for directing air flow and for safety. It did both. I’m totally happy with this affordable addition.

I put this in my 1950 Chevy with my inline six and it worked perfectly. I was concerned with it fitting but it does allow you to fold it in at the bottom making the diameter a lot smaller.

I bought this for a 72 Chevelle open the box to make sure I had everything but didn’t take it out of the wrapping.I was not ready to install for l was working on other things with the car .So this past weekend end decided to see how this shroud attaches for I also bought chrome top plate for the radiator that incorporates with the shroud .l take the shroud out of the wrapping and it had been bent to the point don’t think it can be used.Iam out 50 bucks should have examined more closely I just will not buy from the supplier again .
