This is, for my taste buds, yummy, versatile,easy-peasie to use in various ways: Soups, stews, a pinch here and there w/out recipes, i.e., to taste- cooked veggies, & mostly sauces of course. For me, a quick enhancer of flavor.Price is good - One package goes a long way. Nice to have on hand to amp up the flavor of just about anything savory. I have yet to try it in beef stroganoff -- but use Ithis constantly. Delish.

This is the only place I can find this seasoning mix. I'm not sure why none of my local stores don't stock this anymore. It has all the seasonings needed, which is cheaper than buying all the seasonings separately when money is tight, children help with preparing dinner by adding in the mix. This seasoning mix can be used for other dishes, not just beef stroganoff.

Edit to add: I just checked my email. This company completely refunded my purchase without me even asking. They also included a personal note apologizing for the problem. I feel this is very professional and I am very impressed! I'm changing my 3 stars to 5 stars just because of the attention they payed to me. Amazing! I would order from this company again. I feel they deserve a second chance.When I ordered this I asked the seller if I would be getting what was shown because that is the original flavor. It's what I wanted. Almost impossible to find in stores these days. I received an e-mail telling me "Yes, Amazon will be sending the item shown." In my email I mentioned that the flavor profile had changed and didn't taste right. I was assured that I was getting what was pictured and that they were happy to know that there was a flavor change. When I received my order (12 packages and quite expensive) It was not what I was told I was getting. (See picture of what I got.) I thought, oh well, We've been craving Beef Stroganoff so I tried 2 of the packages and made it the exact same way as I normally would. The taste was off. Way too much of a garlic flavor. (I added zero garlic) I'm not returning because it's a hassle. I'll keep the remaining packages and try and mess with it to get a better flavor. I feel like I was lied to. But oh well. If you want the original flavor, I don't recommend this.

This makes a quick and easy tasty sauce that you can just add cooked ground hamburger too and some cooked noodles and you're having a very delicious Stroganoff.

use to use Lowery's brand but they don't make any longer. McCormick bought them out and dropped the item.Shame, Lowery's was better.

Great to have in pantry, make with keystone can meat. The hamburger and beef in a can are great and makes fast easy meal.

Excellent taste and apparently not available in stores anymore. Too bad as it’s the flavour for stroganoffs and ground beef and noodle soups!

Is it seriously $12 per pack before tax? I don’t think I paid that much when I ordered it previously. That’s a shame because it’s one of our favorite dishes and I can’t find it in the grocery store.

No good, what a waste of money and shipping cost! I bought the stroganoff 'meatball' mix previously and it was fantastic so since I couldn't find it I bought this instead. It was very bland. The meatball mix has a spice mix that boosts the flavors.
