These are costume jewelry so to speak, they do look great and make a nice addition when dressing up.
Attended a semi formal event and while reviewing different outfits to wear noticed some had brouches clipped to the lapel with chain other end secured at the the breast pocket and thought it was an eye catcher. Since it was a musical event I chose these and Silver one really popped on the jacket.

Came broken
The silver one came with a broken latch and would not stay in place. It’s fine though otherwise I guess.

Beautiful, but silver largest stone is "cloudy "
When I bought this, I thought the silver looked nicest and figured I could gift away the gold one. But when I got them, the gold one is very pretty. The silver one is nice, but the largest stone is cloudy . :-( Still for the price and uniqueness, these are "lovely." ( Do I like ever use that word?! No...But these are so pretty!) One downside: They aren't gift boxed. So if gifting them, you may want to drop by a jewelry store and see if you can buy boxes. These easily are two gifts for two people. They are NOT tacky or "old person" looking. These could be added to a hat, blazer, anything that you don't mind putting two pin holes in-- both the clef and note are pin backs versus the circle fitting over a sharp pin, these have the long locking pin type.) Great "high value" items for holiday stocking stuffer!!!! Perfect for high school band members or serious music lovers. Would look pretty on an outfit to wear to the symphony or opera.
