I've been worried about diabetes for a while (bad diet, and some worrying symptoms). But I'm a bit anxious when it comes to seeing a doctor, so I thought I'd try some home tests. That's what I did, and the results were positive. But I still wanted some closure on the matter, and for a professional test to be done. So I looked online, and found this from Cerascreen! Once you unbox it, it seems a little daunting and confusing. But it's actually really simple, and they provide clear, step by step instructions. The little blood extractor thing was harmless, and using the rest of the kit was easy. Once I was done, I packed it up, and stuck it in a postbox (a pre-paid envelope is included). About a week later I got an email to say my sample was in the lab, and a couple of days after that I got an email to say my results were ready. The results were positive for me! I would have liked some more, customized information in my report, but I guess what it includes is fine. It tells you the important numbers so that you can put your mind at ease. Definitely worth a purchase, and I may need to try out some of their other tests too!

The kit arrived quickly and was well presented. Contains everything you need with clear instruction, I found it very easy to use. I have never received any results or explanation why from the company, so whilst I would give this type of test another try, I would not use this company.

. In the current coronavirus crisis, one would wish to avoid a hospital outpatients visit to have the HbA1c test done by the NHS to check glucose levels over the last few months. I found this very good. It was (fairly) easy to squeeze the blood out of my finger onto their collector and send it off to their lab. I then logged onto their website with the ID from my test, and sat back to wait. After not hearing anything from them, I emailed and they said that the sample had not been delivered, so they sent, with no charge, another test kit. When it had been analysed they sent me an email to tell me so, I logged on to their website and read the report, together with health advice. At first glance the test result was confusing, as it was expressed in German format, as a %, which did not conform to the UK format of, for example, 48 mmol/mol. But a quick Google gave me the conversion, some figures of which I will put here as a guide for other users. 6.0% = 42 mmol/mol 6.1% = 43 mmol/mol 6.2% = 44 mmol/mol 6.3% = 45.5 mmol/mol 6.4% = 47 mmol/mol 6.5% = 48 mmol/mol My result came out very much in line with previous NHS tests, so I guess that it was accurate. I was impressed that they sent me another test kit for free when the Post Office somehow lost my first one. I shall now be using this regularly, in between NHS tests if these can resume safely.

I purchased this item after concerns from those close to me that my sugar intake was too high and I may be causing long term risk whilst being unaware. The test arrived extremely quickly and once opened offers photo and written instruction on how to use. I found these easy to follow and within 10 minutes had completed the test signed up on the cerascreen website and packaged the product. The results are returned on the website and offered an insight into many different metrics along with individualised recommendations going forward. Would highly recommend.

The test was easy enough to do but the results took several weeks to come through. I have had similar tests with another provider which gave the results in a few days so this was very disappointing. I will never use this provider again.

I sent the test kit off on 23rd June. I followed the instructions and didn’t hear back for weeks. The. after several chases I was told the test hadn’t worked. After another chase I was told I would be sent another kit. This still hasn’t arrived. The only way to contact cerascreen is by email and the responses are very slow and sometimes non-existent. Don’t do it, it’s not worth the money or the time and effort!

It was easy to order and pay for the test. Unfortunately afer sending it off I never received the reaading back.

The whole package was well designed, simple and clear. The app and instructions were very userfriendly. It is something I have been concerned about for a while so it is nice the be able to order and do at home than going through the nhs.
