Brought this for 18 month old niece for Christmas as she absolutely loved it! It took some time to blow up since there are a lot of small chambers and I did not have a pump, but well worth it. It comes with 20 balls but that will not get you anywhere, I purchased a pack of 100 balls from Walmart for 8 bucks and it barely covered the bottom along with the 20 balls that it came with. In other words, just using the 20 balls it came with will be worthless. You will need to purchase additional balls for the ball pit. Also the bottom is a thin mess so you will need to place it on level surface or floor but it is sturdy. Otherwise I'm happy with this purchase as my niece was too!

We have had the item over a month now and it is holding up well. We got it for my one year olds birthday and she will spend hours sitting in it and pushing the balls through the holes. We also have a 3 year old and an 8 year old who love to play with it as well. Its big enough for both the 1 and 3 year old to sit in at the same time. Only thing is it comes with 20 balls which is perfect for just the youngest girl but the older ones prefer more balls and so I purchased another pack of 100 balls to go along. With these balls it can still hold another 100 or more easily. Ball preference is up to you but We are extremely happy with what we have gotten and how much our kids are enjoying it.

My daughter loved this! We got if for her birthday and she got about 9 months use out of it because she grows so fast! We did have to buy more balls because 20 wasn't nearly enough. And we had to patch a small hole right away and then a few more throughout the life of the ball pit. It wasn't too difficult though and she got enough use out of it to make the little problems worth it.

As many others have indicated, the balls pictures are much more than what actually comes with the item. Be prepared to go out and purchase your own balls if you want to have a full ball pit. Otherwise, you will end up with just a few balls sprinkled sporadically and nothing that actually resembles a ball pit. My other issue is that it constantly deflates. I've tried everything... putting in more air, less air, moving it away from our air vents, etc. and inevitably within a few days one of the air stoppers pops out and I find the play pit collapsed. With this in mind, make sure you are realistic about your plans for inflating this thing. I have a battery powered air pump so there is close to zero effort involved in inflating it. If i was inflating my mouth or even with a hand pump, I think I would have thrown this thing out long ago. The plus side is, my kid has always enjoyed this toy. We got it when she was a little over one year old and she's two now and still loves it. Sometimes she actually rolls around in the balls, other times she uses it as a playhouse - taking her toys and books in with her. Ultimately, I would not buy this item again if I knew then what I know now and I would recommend that others try and find a better-engineered item. However, when inflated it more than serves its purpose and brings lots of joy to my child. That was enough in my book to bump it to 3 stars instead of 2.

I bought this for my granddaughter, she is one and weighs 18 pounds. It lasted a whole 2 weeks before the seam busted out and it had to be repaired. By no means is a tiny child that rough on it.

My 9 month old baby loves to play in this ball pit. 20 balls are too less for this pit, as pointed out by other reviewers but I have left my baby's toys inside the pit instead of buying more balls. It has been almost 2 weeks my baby is playing in this and there is not a minute sign of air leak. The ball pit is well inflated since my baby first started using it. Amazon shipping and customer service is awesome.

I liked the character design for my daughter. I didn't like how all the balls were deflated. I thought maybe from the weather but they still haven't popped out. I went to go blow the ball pit up and one side wouldn't hold air. Come to find out there is a small tear in the corner that we tried to patch, but it's location it wasn't possible, air just leaks out. Very disappointed in this product.Only giving only star because is required.

My kids loved this ball pit! The only down side is that it only comes with a few ball pit balls.
