Q: What are the Flat pack dimension for shipping?

No they need to be stood up. I have just tried the horizontal way and the boxes do not fit they would have to be placed in sideways.

Q: How much weight does it hold?

I have the bottom cube full of cds which majes it heavy. I have loads of wires, chargers, batteries, cameras, loads of other heavy item and it all holds up well. I have anchored it to wall but it was freestanding before that and was fine. Put heaviest items nearest the bottom, just for stability.

Q: Can this be wall mounted and used without boxes ?

Hi there . I have used this storage unit without the boxes . I'm not sure if you can wall mount this item as I just put them on top of my set of drawers and also on my bedroom floor. Personally speaking depends what you are going to put in them,as they might be too heavy and won't stay attached to your wall. Sorry I couldn't help you with the second question. Hope this helps you
