LOVE it!!!........Absolutely delightful ;-)!!!
It took less time to assemble [almost] than it did to open and unpack. It took a while to get the fairy screwed on because of physical features [Weight, size, etc.] and there did not seem to be a clearly drilled hole in the solar light. Finally I just stuck it in the ground and then screwed it on and that went quickly. Once I turned on the light switch [On the bottom of the solar battery] it lit up immediately. After admiring my handy work I went inside and read the directions...lol. I saw where I had forgotten to peel the clear film off of the battery so I went outside and did that. I was surprised that the test tube is 1.5" in diameter it is almost 6" high but only measures up to 5". The test tube is not straight up and down but imagine a clock dial and the time at 12:04 or 12:05 in other words roughly 24-30 degrees. The vial lifts in and out easily so just lift it out and read how much rain you got. I put it out at 7:00 A.M. last night and the light was still going strong 9 hours later. It has been on for about 12 hours now the 2nd night and the light is dimming. Sadly the entire fairy does not get illuminated but only her lovely legs. I am definitely sold on solar lights and will be buying more. God bless you and may 2020 be your best year ever ;-).

Pretty Addition to a Night Garden
Lovely little fairy gauge with a solar light below. Took a point off for the need to place this in a place where there is zero ambient night light otherwise it will not glow (no porch or street lights or sidewalk solar lighting nearby) Also, it's fallen over several times regardless of placement in the ground. We put it in a thick liriope hedge next to a walking path and even the tight roots of that hedge were not able to support the installation. The gauge is glass and would be hard to replace if broken so keep away from sidewalks, rocks, or other hard surfaces it might land on if blown or knocked over. Otherwise, cute when looking out the window into the darkened garden at night to see a little glow and useful as a good water gauge.

Absolutely adorable!
Absolutely adorable! I was only able to charge it for about three hours the first night but it stayed lit all night long. It came on at dusk and stayed late all night the second night as well. Very easy to put together and adds a touch of magic to the garden Prettiest rain gauge ever 🥰

Company honors it guarantee!!
I originally purchased this iterm in April 2020 and for some reason the solor panel leaked causing the battery and inside connections to rust out so the light did not work.I contacted the company and they honored their guarantee and sent me a new rain gauge which I received today. This is a very nice product and the rain gauge is wide and made of glass not plastic and hold up to 5 inches of rain.I would highly recommend this product as it looks great in my yard both day and night!!

Measures amount of rain
Love the design of this rain guage! The problem I have is it is not very sturdy after being assembled. It sort of wobbles, I guess because the pieces cannot be joined very tightly. Also, where the light is there is constantly condensation inside the bulb cover that I have to keep taking off and drying. Other than that it looks good and does it's job of measuring the amount of rain.

Good Value for a well constructed garden accessory
Very colorful all metal construction. Perfect gift for my granddaughters Fairy Garden. Plus, I have always wondered about how much actual rain I get. Solar box looks well constructed and it swivels up and down. The light is pretty bright.... worked right out of the box. Easy assembly and very well packaged. It will look great in any garden. Looks exactly as pictured.

Really cute as described but solar light failed fast
It arrived as described. Note it doesn’t stay sturdily fixed in somewhat loose or wet soil. While you can work with that, I sure was disappointed when the solar light quit after a few days. I moved it around, gave it full sun, etc. to no avail. It cost too much for an ornament only. I did not ask for a refund. Perhaps they would have replaced it. Hey, maybe mine was a lemon. I just kept it for decoration.

No replacement tube available.
Solar light only lasted about two months. Battery replacement didn't help. Glass tube broke and no replacement tubes available. I do not recommend.
