The Listing is Deceiving
This is a great scanner if you only want USB connectivity. However, if you want Ethernet connectivity, the web listing is INCORRECT. Despite the lisitng decscription, this scanner does NOT have an ethernet option. Amazon blames the Third Party Seller for the description. The Third Party blames Canon. Canon blames Amazon’s control of the listing. Then Amazon sends you to speak with Canon warranty (like that will ever create an ethernet port in a model that is not so equipped). My order of this model was a total disaster, waste of time and dissapoonting. Amazon DID NOTHING to help, blaming the seller and putting me in contact with Canon USA Warranty (there was no warranty issue???). Now I am out time and charges for IT personnel and Amazon hasn’t had a supervisor call or address these problems. I’ve called multiple times and spent hours on the phone. It’s clear ordering something of this expense and technical aspect is better done directly with the manufacturer or a local store. This was a judge waste of time and I’m out money. No one seems to care.

Great!
We have 3 of the previous model at my company. They are 10-11 years old and we scan thousands of pages daily M-F. We have replaced rollers regularly and cleaned appropriately. We originally hoped to get 5-6 years usage out of the product. Finally, after 10 years, as expected, they are beginning to have issues we just can't fix so we purchased this model as a replacement. It works perfectly and handles the large scan jobs just like it's previous version. It looks good, seems top notch quality, has all the features we need and the scans looks great. Another great product from Canon that we expect to last like the older ones have done.

$4000.00 to tear your papers apart
This thing will literally tear your papers up and rip them! If you have more than a tiny stack, it eventually chops one up. If you have even a small crease where a paperclip was previously, like an indentation, it will jam and tear the paper up. For $4k this is completely unacceptable. AVOID THIS SCANNER !!!!!
